John 5 - ASV (Malayalam)

1 After these things there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഒരു ഉത്സവം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു യേശു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കുപോയി.

2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep `gate' a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porches.യെരൂശലേമിൽ ആട്ടുവാതിൽക്കൽ ബേഥെസ്ദാ എന്നു എബ്രായപേരുള്ള ഒരു കുളം ഉണ്ടു; അതിന്നു അഞ്ചു മണ്ഡപം ഉണ്ടു.

3 In these lay a multitude of them that were sick, blind, halt, withered, `waiting for the moving of the water.'അവയിൽ വ്യാധിക്കാർ, കുരുടർ, മുടന്തർ, ക്ഷയരോഗികൾ ഇങ്ങനെ വലിയോരു കൂട്ടം (വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഇളക്കം കാത്തുകൊണ്ടു) കിടന്നിരുന്നു.

4 `for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the waters stepped in was made whole, with whatsoever disease he was holden.'(അതതു സമയത്തു ഒരു ദൂതൻ കുളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങി വെള്ളം കലക്കും; വെള്ളം കലങ്ങിയ ശേഷം ആദ്യം ഇറങ്ങുന്നവൻ ഏതു വ്യാധിപിടിച്ചവനായിരുന്നാലും അവന്നു സൌഖ്യം വരും)

5 And a certain man was there, who had been thirty and eight years in his infirmity.എന്നാൽ മുപ്പത്തെട്ടു ആണ്ടു രോഗം പിടിച്ചു കിടന്നോരു മനുഷ്യൻ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

6 When Jesus saw him lying, and knew that he had been now a long time `in that case', he saith unto him, Wouldest thou be made whole?അവൻ കിടക്കുന്നതു യേശു കണ്ടു, ഇങ്ങനെ ഏറിയ കാലമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിഞ്ഞു: “നിനക്കു സൌഖ്യമാകുവാൻ മനസ്സുണ്ടോ ” എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

7 The sick man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.രോഗി അവനോടു: യജമാനനേ, വെള്ളം കലങ്ങുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ കുളത്തിൽ ആക്കുവാൻ എനിക്കു ആരും ഇല്ല; ഞാൻ തന്നേ ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ എനിക്കു മുമ്പായി ഇറങ്ങുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Arise, take up thy bed, and walk.യേശു അവനോടു: “എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്റെ കിടക്ക എടുത്തു നടക്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9 And straightway the man was made whole, and took up his bed and walked. Now it was the sabbath on that day.ഉടനെ ആ മനുഷ്യൻ സൌഖ്യമായി കിടക്ക എടുത്തു നടന്നു.

10 So the Jews said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for thee to take up thy bed.എന്നാൽ അന്നു ശബ്ബത്ത് ആയിരുന്നു. ആകയാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാർ സൌഖ്യം പ്രാപിച്ചവനോടു: ഇന്നു ശബ്ബത്ത് ആകുന്നു; കിടക്ക എടുക്കുന്നതു വിഹിതമല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

11 But he answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.അവൻ അവരോടു: എന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയവൻ: കിടക്ക എടുത്ത നടക്ക എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

12 They asked him, Who is the man that said unto thee, Take up `thy bed', and walk?അവർ അവനോടു: കിടക്ക എടുത്തു നടക്ക എന്നു നിന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞ മനുഷ്യൻ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

13 But he that was healed knew not who it was; for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in the place.എന്നാൽ അവിടെ പുരുഷാരം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയാൽ യേശു മാറിക്കളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ആരെന്നു സൌഖ്യം പ്രാപിച്ചവൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing befall thee.അനന്തരം യേശു അവനെ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു കണ്ടു അവനോടു: “നോകൂ, നിനക്കു സൌഖ്യമായല്ലോ; അധികം തിന്മയായതു ഭവിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഇനി പാപം ചെയ്യരുതു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

15 The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him whole.ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പോയി തന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതു യേശു എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാരോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

16 And for this cause the Jews persecuted Jesus, because he did these things on the sabbath.യേശു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ അതു ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു.

17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh even until now, and I work.യേശു അവരോടു: “എന്റെ പിതാവു ഇന്നുവരെയും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു; ഞാനും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

18 For this cause therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only brake the sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ശബ്ബത്തിനെ ലംഘിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു മാത്രമല്ല, ദൈവം സ്വന്തപിതാവു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തന്നെത്താൻ ദൈവത്തോടു സമമാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടും യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അധികമായി ശ്രമിച്ചു പോന്നു.

19 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner.ആകയാൽ യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: പിതാവു ചെയ്തു കാണുന്നതു അല്ലാതെ പുത്രന്നു സ്വതേ ഒന്നും ചെയ്‍വാൻ കഴികയില്ല; അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു എല്ലാം പുത്രനും അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and greater works than these will he show him, that ye may marvel.പിതാവു പുത്രനെ സ്നേഹിക്കയും താൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുമാറു ഇവയിൽ വലിയ പ്രവൃത്തികളും അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

21 For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.പിതാവു മരിച്ചവരെ ഉണർത്തി ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ പുത്രനും താൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവരെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

22 For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;എല്ലാവരും പിതാവിനെ ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ പുത്രനെയും ബഹുമാനിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പിതാവു ആരെയും ന്യായം വിധിക്കാതെ ന്യായവിധി എല്ലാം പുത്രന്നുകൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

23 that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.പുത്രനെ ബഹുമാനിക്കാത്തവൻ അവനെ അയച്ച പിതാവിനെയും ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നില്ല.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: എന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടു എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവൻ ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ ന്യായവിധിയിൽ ആകാതെ മരണത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജീവങ്കലേക്കു കടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: മരിച്ചവർ ദൈവപുത്രന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കയും കേൾക്കുന്നവർ ജീവിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നാഴികവരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ വന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

26 For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the Son also to have life in himself:പിതാവിന്നു തന്നിൽതന്നേ ജീവനുള്ളതുപോലെ അവൻ പുത്രന്നും തന്നിൽതന്നേ ജീവനുള്ളവൻ ആകുമാറു വരം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

27 and he gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.അവൻ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ ആകയാൽ ന്യായവിധിനടത്തുവാൻ അവന്നു അധികാരവും നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour cometh, in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice,ഇതിങ്കൽ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടരുതു; കല്ലറകളിൽ ഉള്ളവർ എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു,

29 and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.നന്മ ചെയ്തവർ ജീവന്നായും തിന്മ ചെയ്തവർ ന്യായവിധിക്കായും പുനരുത്ഥാനം ചെയ്‍വാനുള്ള നാഴിക വരുന്നു.

30 I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.എനിക്കു സ്വതേ ഒന്നും ചെയ്‍വാൻ കഴിയുന്നതല്ല; ഞാൻ കേൾക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം അല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമത്രേ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ വിധി നീതിയുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞാൽ എന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യമല്ല.

32 It is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതു മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ആകുന്നു; അവൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്ന സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യം എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.

33 Ye have sent unto John, and he hath borne witness unto the truth.നിങ്ങൾ യോഹാന്നാന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു; അവൻ സത്യത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

34 But the witness which I receive is not from man: howbeit I say these things, that ye may be saved.എനിക്കോ മനുഷ്യന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യംകൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യമില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാനത്രേ ഇതു പറയുന്നതു.

35 He was the lamp that burneth and shineth; and ye were willing to rejoice for a season in his light.അവൻ ജ്വലിച്ചു പ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന വിളക്കു ആയിരുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ അല്പസമയത്തേക്കു അവന്റെ വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ഉല്ലസിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചു.

36 But the witness which I have is greater than `that of' John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.എനിക്കോ യോഹന്നാന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിലും വലിയ സാക്ഷ്യം ഉണ്ടു; പിതാവു എനിക്കു അനുഷ്ഠിപ്പാൻ തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികൾ, ഞാൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികൾ തന്നേ, പിതാവു എന്നെ അയച്ചു എന്നു എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.

37 And the Father that sent me, he hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവുതാനും എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഒരുനാളും കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല, അവന്റെ രൂപം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല;

38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he sent, him ye believe not.അവന്റെ വചനം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല അവൻ അയച്ചവനെ നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

39 Ye search the scriptures, because ye think that in them ye have eternal life; and these are they which bear witness of me;നിങ്ങൾ തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളെ ശോധനചെയ്യുന്നു; അവയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നിത്യജീവൻ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ നിരൂപിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവ എനിക്കു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

40 and ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.എങ്കിലും ജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ല.

41 I receive not glory from men.ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യരോടു ബഹുമാനം വാങ്ങുന്നില്ല.

42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in yourselves.എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉള്ളിൽ ദൈവസ്നേഹം ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.ഞാൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ല; മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ സ്വന്തനാമത്തിൽ വന്നാൽ അവനെ നിങ്ങൾ കൈക്കൊള്ളും.

44 How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that `cometh' from the only God ye seek not?തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ ബഹുമാനം വാങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടു ഏകദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കൽ നിന്നുള്ള ബഹുമാനം അന്വേഷിക്കാത്ത നിങ്ങൾക്കു എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിപ്പാൻ കഴിയും?

45 Think not that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, `even' Moses, on whom ye have set your hope.ഞാൻ പിതാവിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിങ്ങളെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നരുതു. നിങ്ങളെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്നവൻ ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യാശ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മോശെ തന്നേ.

46 For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me; for he wrote of me.നിങ്ങൾ മോശെയെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ എന്നെയും വിശ്വസിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; അവൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?എന്നാൽ അവന്റെ എഴുത്തു നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല എങ്കിൽ എന്റെ വാക്കു എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും
