John 1 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 From the first he was the Word, and the Word was in relation with God and was God.ആദിയിൽ വചനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; വചനം ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു; വചനം ദൈവം ആയിരുന്നു.

2 This Word was from the first in relation with God.അവൻ ആദിയിൽ ദൈവത്തോടു കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു.

3 All things came into existence through him, and without him nothing was.സകലവും അവൻ മുഖാന്തരം ഉളവായി; ഉളവായതു ഒന്നും അവനെ കൂടാതെ ഉളവായതല്ല.

4 What came into existence in him was life, and the life was the light of men.അവനിൽ ജീവൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ജീവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ വെളിച്ചമായിരുന്നു.

5 And the light goes on shining in the dark; it is not overcome by the dark.വെളിച്ചം ഇരുളിൽ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നു; ഇരുളോ അതിനെ പിടിച്ചടക്കിയില്ല.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.ദൈവം അയച്ചിട്ടു ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ വന്നു; അവന്നു യോഹന്നാൻ എന്നു പേർ.

7 He came for witness, to give witness about the light, so that all men might have faith through him.അവൻ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി താൻ മുഖാന്തരം എല്ലാവരും വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറവാൻ തന്നേ വന്നു.

8 He himself was not the light: he was sent to give witness about the light.അവൻ വെളിച്ചം ആയിരുന്നില്ല; വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയേണ്ടുന്നവനത്രേ.

9 The true light, which gives light to every man, was then coming into the world.ഏതു മനുഷ്യനെയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സത്യവെളിച്ചം ലോകത്തിലേക്കു വന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

10 He was in the world, the world which came into being through him, but the world had no knowledge of him.അവൻ ലോകത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ലോകം അവൻ മുഖാന്തരം ഉളവായി; ലോകമോ അവനെ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

11 He came to the things which were his and his people did not take him to their hearts.അവൻ സ്വന്തത്തിലേക്കു വന്നു; സ്വന്തമായവരോ അവനെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടില്ല.

12 To all those who did so take him, however, he gave the right of becoming children of God--that is, to those who had faith in his name:അവനെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും ദൈവമക്കൾ ആകുവാൻ അവൻ അധികാരം കൊടുത്തു.

13 Whose birth was from God and not from blood, or from an impulse of the flesh and man's desire.അവർ രക്തത്തിൽ നിന്നല്ല, ജഡത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടത്താലല്ല, പുരുഷന്റെ ഇഷ്ടത്താലുമല്ല, ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നത്രേ ജനിച്ചതു.

14 And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory--such glory as is given to an only son by his father--saw it to be true and full of grace.വചനം ജഡമായി തീർന്നു, കൃപയും സത്യവും നിറഞ്ഞവനായി നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർത്തു. ഞങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ തേജസ്സ് പിതാവിൽ നിന്നു ഏകജാതനായവന്റെ തേജസ്സായി കണ്ടു.

15 John gave witness about him, crying, This is he of whom I said, He who is coming after me is put over me because he was in existence before me.യോഹന്നാൻ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചു: എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നവൻ എനിക്കു മുമ്പനായി തീർന്നു; അവൻ എനിക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞവൻ ഇവൻ തന്നേ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

16 From his full measure we have all been given grace on grace.അവന്റെ നിറവിൽ നിന്നു നമുക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും കൃപമേൽ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and the true way of life are ours through Jesus Christ.ന്യായപ്രമാണം മോശെ മുഖാന്തരം ലഭിച്ചു; കൃപയും സത്യവും യേശുക്രിസ്തു മുഖാന്തരം വന്നു.

18 No man has seen God at any time; the only Son, who is on the breast of the Father, he has made clear what God is.ദൈവത്തെ ആരും ഒരുനാളും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല; പിതാവിന്റെ മടിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഏകജാതനായ പുത്രൻ അവനെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

19 And this is the witness of John when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to him with the question, Who are you?നീ ആർ എന്നു യോഹന്നാനോടു ചോദിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം എന്തെന്നാൽ: അവൻ മറുക്കാതെ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു;

20 He said quite openly and straightforwardly, I am not the Christ.ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തു അല്ല എന്നു ഏറ്റു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 And they said to him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the prophet? And his answer was, I am not.പിന്നെ എന്തു? നീ ഏലീയാവോ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. നീ ആ പ്രവാചകനോ? എന്നതിന്നു: അല്ല എന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

22 So they said to him, Who are you then? We have to give some answer to those who sent us. What have you to say about yourself?അവർ അവനോടു: നീ ആരാകുന്നു? ഞങ്ങളെ അയച്ചവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ എന്തു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the waste land, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said Isaiah the prophet.അതിന്നു അവൻ: യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ: കർത്താവിന്റെ വഴി നേരെ ആക്കുവിൻ എന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്നവന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

24 Those who had been sent came from the Pharisees.അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ പരീശന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുള്ളവർ ആയിരുന്നു.

25 And they put this question to him, saying, Why then are you giving baptism if you are not the Christ, or Elijah, or the prophet?എന്നാൽ നീ ക്രിസ്തുവല്ല, ഏലീയാവല്ല, ആ പ്രവാചകനും അല്ല എന്നു വരികിൽ നീ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു അവർ ചോദിച്ചു.

26 John's answer was: I give baptism with water; but there is one among you of whom you have no knowledge;അതിന്നു യോഹന്നാൻ: ഞാൻ വെള്ളത്തിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്ത ഒരുത്തൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നുണ്ടു;

27 It is he who is coming after me; I am not good enough to undo his shoes.എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നവൻ തന്നേ; അവന്റെ ചെരിപ്പിന്റെ വാറു അഴിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ യോഗ്യൻ അല്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

28 These things took place at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was giving baptism.ഇതു യോർദ്ദന്നക്കാരെ യോഹന്നാൻ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ബേഥാന്യയിൽ സംഭവിച്ചു.

29 The day after, John sees Jesus coming to him and says, See, here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!പിറ്റെന്നാൾ യേശു തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നതു അവൻ കണ്ടിട്ടു: ഇതാ, ലോകത്തിന്റെ പാപം ചുമക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞാടു;

30 This is he of whom I said, One is coming after me who is put over me because he was in existence before me.എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഒരു പുരുഷൻ വരുന്നു; അവൻ എനിക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു മുമ്പനായി തീർന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞവൻ ഇവൻ തന്നേ.

31 I myself had no knowledge of him, but I came giving baptism with water so that he might be seen openly by Israel.ഞാനോ അവനെ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; എങ്കിലും അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ വെള്ളത്തിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32 And John gave this witness, saying, I saw the Spirit coming down from heaven like a dove and resting on him.യോഹന്നാൻ പിന്നെയും സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞതു: ആത്മാവു ഒരു പ്രാവുപോലെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അതു അവന്റെ മേൽ വസിച്ചു.

33 I had no knowledge who he was, but he who sent me to give baptism with water said to me, The one on whom you see the Spirit coming down and resting, it is he who gives baptism with the Holy Spirit.ഞാനോ അവനെ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; എങ്കിലും വെള്ളത്തിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിപ്പാൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ എന്നോടു: ആരുടെമേൽ ആത്മാവു ഇറങ്ങുന്നതും വസിക്കുന്നതും നീ കാണുമോ അവൻ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34 This I saw myself and my witness is that he is the Son of God.അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ കാണുകയും ഇവൻ ദൈവപുത്രൻ തന്നേ എന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

35 The day after, John was there again with two of his disciples;പിറ്റെന്നാൾ യോഹന്നാൻ പിന്നെയും തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ രണ്ടുപേരുമായി അവിടെ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ

36 And looking at Jesus while he was walking he said, See, there is the Lamb of God!കടന്നുപോകുന്ന യേശുവിനെ നോക്കീട്ടു: ഇതാ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞാടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

37 Hearing what he said, the two disciples went after Jesus.അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു ആ രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ കേട്ടു യേശുവിനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.

38 And Jesus, turning round, saw them coming after him and said to them, What are you looking for? They said to him, Rabbi (which is to say, Master), where are you living?യേശു തിരിഞ്ഞു അവർ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു അവരോടു: “നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.” അവർ: റബ്ബീ, എന്നു വെച്ചാൽ ഗുരോ, നീ എവിടെ പാർക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

39 He said to them, Come and see. They went with him then and saw where he was living; and they were with him all that day: it was then about the tenth hour of the day.അവൻ അവരോടു: “വന്നു കാണ്മിൻ ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവൻ വസിക്കുന്ന ഇടം അവർ കണ്ടു അന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ പാർത്തു; അപ്പോൾ ഏകദേശം പത്താംമണി നേരം ആയിരുന്നു.

40 Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two men who, hearing what John said, went after Jesus.യോഹന്നാൻ പറഞ്ഞതു കേട്ടു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ച രണ്ടുപേരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അന്ത്രെയാസ് ആയിരുന്നു.

41 Early in the morning he came across his brother and said to him, We have made discovery! It is the Messiah! (which is to say, the Christ).അവൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ശിമോനെ ആദ്യം കണ്ടു അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ മശീഹയെ എന്നുവെച്ചാൽ ക്രിസ്തുവെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

42 And he took him to Jesus. Looking at him fixedly Jesus said, You are Simon, the son of John; your name will be Cephas (which is to say, Peter).അവനെ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; യേശു അവനെ നോക്കി: “നീ യോഹന്നാന്റെ പുത്രനായ ശിമോൻ ആകുന്നു; നിനക്കു കേഫാ എന്നു പേരാകും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അതു പത്രൊസ് എന്നാകുന്നു.

43 The day after this, Jesus had a desire to go into Galilee. He came across Philip and said to him, Come and be my disciple.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ യേശു ഗലീലെക്കു പുറപ്പെടുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഫിലിപ്പോസിനെ കണ്ടു: “എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക” എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

44 Now Philip's town was Beth-saida, where Andrew and Peter came from.ഫിലിപ്പോസോ അന്ത്രെയാസിന്റെയും പത്രൊസിന്റെയും പട്ടണമായ ബേത്ത്സയിദയിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

45 Philip came across Nathanael and said to him, We have made a discovery! It is he of whom Moses, in the law, and the prophets were writing, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.ഫിലിപ്പോസ് നഥനയേലിനെ കണ്ടു അവനോടു: ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ മോശെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ യോസേഫിന്റെ പുത്രനായ യേശു എന്ന നസറെത്തുകാരൻ തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

46 Nazareth! said Nathanael, Is it possible for any good to come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.നഥനയേൽ അവനോടു: നസറെത്തിൽനിന്നു വല്ല നന്മയും വരുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഫിലിപ്പോസ് അവനോടു: വന്നു കാൺക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him and said of him, See, here is a true son of Israel in whom there is nothing false.നഥനയേൽ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നതു യേശു കണ്ടു: “ഇതാ, സാക്ഷാൽ യിസ്രായേല്യൻ; ഇവനിൽ കപടം ഇല്ല ” എന്നു അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

48 Nathanael said to him, Where did you get knowledge of me? In answer Jesus said, Before Philip was talking with you, while you were still under the fig-tree, I saw you.നഥനയേൽ അവനോടു: എന്നെ എവിടെവെച്ചു അറിയും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: “ഫിലിപ്പോസ് നിന്നെ വിളിക്കുംമുമ്പെ നീ അത്തിയുടെ കീഴിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കണ്ടു” എന്നു യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

49 Nathanael said to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are King of Israel!നഥനയേൽ അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, നീ ദൈവപുത്രൻ, നീ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രാജാവു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

50 In answer Jesus said to him, You have faith because I said to you, I saw you under the fig-tree. You will see greater things than these.യേശു അവനോടു: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അത്തിയുടെ കീഴിൽ കണ്ടു എന്നു നിന്നോടു പറകകൊണ്ടു നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ? നീ ഇതിനെക്കാൾ വലിയതു കാണും” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

51 And he said to him, Truly I say to you all, You will see heaven opening and God's angels going up and coming down on the Son of man.“ആമേൻ ആമേൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു: സ്വർഗ്ഗം തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നതും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ദൈവദൂതന്മാർ കയറുകയും ഇറങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതും നിങ്ങൾ കാണും” എന്നും അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
