നീർതോടുകൾ വറ്റിപ്പോകയും മരുഭൂമിയിലെ പുല്പുറങ്ങൾ തീക്കു ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളും നിന്നെ നോക്കി കിഴെക്കുന്നു.

| devoured hath | אָכְלָ֖ה | ʾoklâ | oke-LA |
| the pastures | נְא֥וֹת | nĕʾôt | neh-OTE |
