Job 3 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 After this hath Job opened his mouth, and revileth his day.അനന്തരം ഇയ്യോബ് വായി തുറന്നു തന്റെ ജന്മദിവസത്തെ ശപിച്ചു.

2 And Job answereth and saith: --ഇയ്യോബ് പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

3 Let the day perish in which I am born, And the night that hath said: `A man-child hath been conceived.'ഞാൻ ജനിച്ച ദിവസവും ഒരു ആൺ ഉല്പാദിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ രാത്രിയും നശിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ.

4 That day -- let it be darkness, Let not God require it from above, Nor let light shine upon it.ആ നാൾ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ; മേലിൽനിന്നു ദൈവം അതിനെ കടാക്ഷിക്കരുതേ; പ്രകാശം അതിന്മേൽ ശോഭിക്കയുമരുതേ.

5 Let darkness and death-shade redeem it, Let a cloud tabernacle upon it, Let them terrify it as the most bitter of days.ഇരുളും അന്ധതമസ്സും അതിനെ സ്വാധീനമാക്കട്ടെ; ഒരു മേഘം അതിന്മേൽ അമരട്ടെ; പകലിനെ ഇരുട്ടുന്നതൊക്കെയും അതിനെ പേടിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.

6 That night -- let thick darkness take it, Let it not be united to days of the year, Into the number of months let it not come.ആ രാത്രിയെ കൂരിരുൾ പിടിക്കട്ടെ; അതു ആണ്ടിന്റെ നാളുകളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കരുതു; മാസങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിൽ വരികയും അരുതു.

7 Lo! that night -- let it be gloomy, Let no singing come into it.അതേ, ആ രാത്രി മച്ചിയായിരിക്കട്ടെ; ഉല്ലാസഘോഷം അതിലുണ്ടാകരുതു.

8 Let the cursers of day mark it, Who are ready to wake up Leviathan.മഹാസർപ്പത്തെ ഇളക്കുവാൻ സമർത്ഥരായി ദിവസത്തെ ശപിക്കുന്നവർ അതിനെ ശപിക്കട്ടെ.

9 Let the stars of its twilight be dark, Let it wait for light, and there is none, And let it not look on the eyelids of the dawn.അതിന്റെ സന്ധ്യാനക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ ഇരുണ്ടു പോകട്ടെ. അതു വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നു കാത്തിരുന്നു കിട്ടാതെ പോകട്ടെ; അതു ഉഷസ്സിന്റെ കണ്ണിമ ഒരിക്കലും കാണരുതു.

10 Because it hath not shut the doors Of the womb that was mine! And hide misery from mine eyes.അതു എനിക്കു ഗർഭദ്വാരം അടെച്ചില്ലല്ലോ; എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു കഷ്ടം മറെച്ചില്ലല്ലോ.

11 Why from the womb do I not die? From the belly I have come forth and gasp!ഞാൻ ഗർഭപാത്രത്തിൽവെച്ചു മരിക്കാഞ്ഞതെന്തു? ഉദരത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ തന്നേ പ്രാണൻ പോകാതിരുന്നതെന്തു?

12 Wherefore have knees been before me? And what `are' breasts, that I suck?മുഴങ്കാൽ എന്നെ ഏറ്റുകൊണ്ടതു എന്തിനു? എനിക്കു കുടിപ്പാൻ മുല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതെന്തിന്നു?

13 For now, I have lain down, and am quiet, I have slept -- then there is rest to me,ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ കിടന്നു വിശ്രമിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഉറങ്ങി വിശ്രാന്തി പ്രാപിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

14 With kings and counsellors of earth, These building wastes for themselves.തങ്ങൾക്കു ഏകാന്തനിവാസങ്ങൾ പണിത ഭൂരാജാക്കന്മാരോടും മന്ത്രിമാരോടും അഥവാ,

15 Or with princes -- they have gold, They are filling their houses `with' silver.കനകസമ്പന്നരായി സ്വഭവനങ്ങൾ വെള്ളികൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചുവെച്ച പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും കൂടെ തന്നേ.

16 (Or as a hidden abortion I am not, As infants -- they have not seen light.)അല്ലെങ്കിൽ, ഗർഭം അലസിപ്പോയിട്ടു കുഴിച്ചിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞ പിണ്ഡംപോലെയും വെളിച്ചം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത പിള്ളകളെപ്പോലെയും ഞാൻ ഇല്ലാതെ പോകുമായിരുന്നു.

17 There the wicked have ceased troubling, And there rest do the wearied in power.അവിടെ ദുർജ്ജനം ഉപദ്രവിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടെ ക്ഷീണിച്ചു പോയവർ വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.

18 Together prisoners have been at ease, They have not heard the voice of an exactor,അവിടെ ബദ്ധന്മാർ ഒരുപോലെ സുഖമായിരിക്കുന്നു; പീഡകന്റെ ശബ്ദം അവർ കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നു.

19 Small and great `are' there the same. And a servant `is' free from his lord.ചെറിയവനും വലിയവനും അവിടെ ഒരുപോലെ; ദാസന്നു യജമാനന്റെ കീഴിൽനിന്നു വിടുതൽ കിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

20 Why giveth He to the miserable light, and life to the bitter soul?അരിഷ്ടനു പ്രകാശവും ദുഃഖിതന്മാർക്കു ജീവനും കൊടുക്കുന്നതെന്തിനു?

21 Who are waiting for death, and it is not, And they seek it above hid treasures.അവർ മരണത്തിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അതു വരുന്നില്ലതാനും; നിധിക്കായി ചെയ്യുന്നതിലുമധികം അവർ അതിന്നായി കുഴിക്കുന്നു.

22 Who are glad -- unto joy, They rejoice when they find a grave.അവർ ശവക്കുഴി കണ്ടാൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും

23 To a man whose way hath been hidden, And whom God doth shut up?വഴി മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്നും ദൈവം നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവന്നും ജീവനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നതെന്തിനു?

24 For before my food, my sighing cometh, And poured out as waters `are' my roarings.ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ എനിക്കു നെടുവീർപ്പു വരുന്നു; എന്റെ ഞരക്കം വെള്ളംപോലെ ഒഴുകുന്നു.

25 For a fear I feared and it meeteth me, And what I was afraid of doth come to me.ഞാൻ പേടിച്ചതു തന്നേ എനിക്കു നേരിട്ടു; ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നതു എനിക്കു ഭവിച്ചു.

26 I was not safe -- nor was I quiet -- Nor was I at rest -- and trouble cometh!ഞാൻ സ്വസ്ഥനായില്ല, വിശ്രമിച്ചില്ല, ആശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല; പിന്നെയും അതിവേദന എടുക്കുന്നു.
