Jeremiah 5 - WEB (Malayalam)

1 Run you back and forth through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places of it, if you can find a man, if there are any who does justly, who seeks truth; and I will pardon her.ന്യായം പ്രവർത്തിക്കയും വിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഉണ്ടോ? ഒരുത്തനെ കാണുമോ എന്നു യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളിൽ ചുറ്റിനടന്നു അന്വേഷിക്കയും അതിന്റെ വിശാലസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ തിരഞ്ഞു അറികയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ; കണ്ടു എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ അതിനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

2 Though they say, As Yahweh lives; surely they swear falsely.യഹോവയാണ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാലും അവർ കപടമായിട്ടത്രേ സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

3 O Yahweh, don't your eyes look on truth? you have stricken them, but they were not grieved; you have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കണ്ണു വിശ്വസ്തതയല്ലയോ നോക്കുന്നതു? നീ അവരെ അടിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവർ വേദനപ്പെട്ടില്ല; നീ അവരെ ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവർക്കു ബോധം കൈക്കൊൾവാൻ മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മുഖം പാറയെക്കാൾ കടുപ്പമാക്കി; മടങ്ങിവരുവാൻ അവർക്കു മനസില്ലായിരുന്നു.

4 Then I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish; for they don't know the way of Yahweh, nor the law of their God:അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ: ഇവർ അല്പന്മാർ, ബുദ്ധിഹീനർ തന്നേ; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ വഴിയും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായവും അറിയുന്നില്ല.

5 I will get me to the great men, and will speak to them; for they know the way of Yahweh, and the law of their God. But these with one accord have broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.ഞാൻ മഹാന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കും; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ വഴിയും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായവും അറിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; എന്നാൽ അവരും ഒരുപോലെ നുകം തകർത്തു കയറു പൊട്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 Therefore a lion out of the forest shall kill them, a wolf of the evenings shall destroy them, a leopard shall watch against their cities; everyone who goes out there shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, [and] their backsliding is increased.അതുകൊണ്ടു കാട്ടിൽനിന്നു ഒരു സിംഹം വന്നു അവരെ കൊല്ലും; മരുപ്രദേശത്തിലെ ചെന്നായ് അവരെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; പുള്ളിപ്പുലി അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ പതിയിരിക്കും; അവയിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും പറിച്ചു കീറിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ വളരെയല്ലോ? അവരുടെ പിൻമാറ്റങ്ങളും പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 How can I pardon you? your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the prostitutes' houses.ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? നിന്റെ മക്കൾ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു, ദൈവമല്ലാത്തവയെ ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്തുവരുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ പോഷിപ്പിച്ച സമയത്തു അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്കയും വേശ്യാഗൃഹങ്ങളിൽ കൂട്ടമായി ചെല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു.

8 They were as fed horses roaming at large; everyone neighed after his neighbor's wife.തീറ്റിത്തടിപ്പിച്ച കുതിരകളെപ്പോലെ അവർ മദിച്ചുനടന്നു, ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ നോക്കി ചിറാലിക്കുന്നു.

9 Shall I not visit for these things? says Yahweh; and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?ഇവനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ സന്ദർശിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുമോ? ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ജാതിയോടു ഞാൻ പകരം ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുമോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10 Go up on her walls, and destroy; but don't make a full end: take away her branches; for they are not Yahweh's.അതിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേൽ കയറി നശിപ്പിപ്പിൻ; എങ്കിലും മുടിച്ചുകളയരുതു. അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളെ നീക്കിക്കളവിൻ; അവ യഹോവെക്കുള്ളവയല്ലല്ലോ.

11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says Yahweh.യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹവും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹവും എന്നോടു മഹാദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

12 They have denied Yahweh, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come on us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:അവർ യഹോവയെ നിഷേധിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: അതു അവനല്ല; നമുക്കു ദോഷം വരികയില്ല; നാം വാളോ ക്ഷാമമോ കാണുകയുമില്ല.

13 and the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done to them.പ്രവാചകന്മാർ കാറ്റായ്തീരും; അവർക്കു അരുളപ്പാടില്ല; അവർക്കു അങ്ങനെ ഭവിക്കട്ടെ.

14 Therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of hosts, Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.അതുകൊണ്ടു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ ഈ വാക്കു പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു, ഇതാ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വായിൽ എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ തീയും ഈ ജനത്തെ വിറകും ആക്കും; അവർ അതിന്നു ഇരയായി തീരും.

15 Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far, house of Israel, says Yahweh: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don't know, neither understand what they say.യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമേ, ഞാൻ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു ഒരു ജാതിയെ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വരുത്തും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു: അതു സ്ഥിരതയുള്ളോരു ജാതി; പുരാതനമായോരു ജാതി, ഭാഷ നിനക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതും വാക്കു നിനക്കു തിരിയാത്തതുമായോരു ജാതി തന്നേ;

16 Their quiver is an open tomb, they are all mighty men.അവരുടെ ആവനാഴി തുറന്ന ശവക്കുഴി; അവർ എല്ലാവരും വീരന്മാരത്രേ.

17 They shall eat up your harvest, and your bread, [which] your sons and your daughters should eat; they shall eat up your flocks and your herds; they shall eat up your vines and your fig trees; they shall beat down your fortified cities, in which you trust, with the sword.നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ഭക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന നിന്റെ വിളവും നിന്റെ ആഹാരവും അവർ ഭക്ഷിച്ചുകളയും; അവർ നിന്റെ ആടുകളെയും കന്നുകാലികളെയും തിന്നുകളയും; അവർ നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളെയും അത്തിവൃക്ഷങ്ങളെയും തിന്നുകളയും; നീ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളെ അവർ വാൾ കൊണ്ടു ശൂന്യമാക്കിക്കളയും.

18 But even in those days, says Yahweh, I will not make a full end with you.എന്നാൽ അന്നാളിലും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മുടിച്ചുകളകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

19 It shall happen, when you shall say, Why has Yahweh our God done all these things to us? then shall you say to them, Like as you have forsaken me, and served foreign gods in your land, so shall you serve strangers in a land that is not yours.നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇവയൊക്കെയും നമ്മോടു ചെയ്‍വാൻ സംഗതി എന്തെന്നു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു അന്യദേവന്മാരെ സേവിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതല്ലാത്ത ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും എന്നുത്തരം പറയേണം.

20 Declare you this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,നിങ്ങൾ യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹത്തിൽ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു യെഹൂദയിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

21 Hear now this, foolish people, and without understanding; who have eyes, and don't see; who have ears, and don't hear:കണ്ണു ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും കാണാതെയും ചെവി ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും കേൾക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന മൂഢന്മാരും ബുദ്ധിഹീനന്മാരുമായ ജനമേ, ഇതു കേൾപ്പിൻ!

22 Don't you fear me? says Yahweh: won't you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it can't pass it? and though the waves of it toss themselves, yet they can't prevail; though they roar, yet they can't pass over it.നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ലയോ? എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വിറെക്കയില്ലയോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ കടലിന്നു കവിഞ്ഞുകൂടാതവണ്ണം നിത്യപ്രമാണമായി മണൽ അതിരാക്കി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; തിരകൾ അലെച്ചാലും സാധിക്കയില്ല; എത്രതന്നേ ഇരെച്ചാലും അതിർ കടക്കയില്ല.

23 But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.ഈ ജനത്തിന്നോ ശാഠ്യവും മത്സരവും ഉള്ളോരു ഹൃദയം ഉണ്ടു; അവർ ശഠിച്ചു പോയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear Yahweh our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season; who preserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.മുന്മഴയും പിന്മഴയും ഇങ്ങനെ നമുക്കു അതതു സമയത്തു വേണ്ടു മഴ തരികയും കൊയ്ത്തിന്നുള്ള കാലാവധി പാലിച്ചുതരികയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നാം ഭയപ്പെടുക എന്നു അവർ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയുന്നതുമില്ല.

25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good from you.ഇവ മാറിപ്പോകുവാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ അത്രേ കാരണം; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളാൽ ഈ നന്മെക്കു മുടക്കം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

26 For among my people are found wicked men: they watch, as fowlers lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ കാണുന്നു; അവർ വേടന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ കുടുക്കുവെച്ചു മനുഷ്യരെ പിടിക്കുന്നു.

27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and grew rich.കൂട്ടിൽ പക്ഷി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരുടെ വീട്ടിൽ വഞ്ചന നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ മഹാന്മാരും ധനവാന്മാരും ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

28 They are grew fat, they shine: yes, they overpass in deeds of wickedness; they don't plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and the right of the needy they don't judge.അവർ പുഷ്ടിവെച്ചു മിന്നുന്നു; ദുഷ്കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ അവർ കവിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അനാഥന്മാർക്കു ഗുണം വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവരുടെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുന്നില്ല; ദരിദ്രന്മാർക്കു ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യുന്നതുമില്ല.

29 Shall I not visit for these things? says Yahweh; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?ഇവനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ സന്ദർശിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുമോ? ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ജാതിയോടു ഞാൻ പകരം ചെയ്യാതെ ഇരിക്കുമോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

30 A wonderful and horrible thing is happen in the land:വിസ്മയവും ഭയങ്കരവുമായുള്ളതു ദേശത്തു സംഭവിക്കുന്നു.

31 the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end of it?പ്രവാചകന്മാർ വ്യാജമായി പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന്മാരും അവരോടു ഒരു കയ്യായി നിന്നു അധികാരം നടത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നോ അതു ഇഷ്ടം ആകുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഒടുക്കം നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു ചെയ്യും.
