Jeremiah 4 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 If thou dost turn back, O Israel, An affirmation of Jehovah, unto Me turn back, And if thou dost turn aside Thine abominations from My face, Then thou dost not bemoan.യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ മനംതിരിയുമെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു മടങ്ങി വന്നുകൊൾക എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; നിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുമെങ്കിൽ നീ അലഞ്ഞു നടക്കേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല.

2 And thou hast sworn -- Jehovah liveth, In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness, And blessed themselves in Him have nations, And in Him they boast themselves.യഹോവയാണ എന്നു നീ പരമാർത്ഥമായും ന്യായമായും നീതിയായും സത്യം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികൾ അവനിൽ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു അവനിൽ പുകഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.

3 For thus said Jehovah, To the man of Judah, and to Jerusalem: Till for yourselves tillage, And do not sow unto the thorns.യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരോടും യെരൂശലേമ്യരോടും യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ മുള്ളുകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വിതെക്കാതെ തരിശുനിലം ഉഴുവിൻ.

4 Be circumcised to Jehovah, And turn aside the foreskins of your heart, O man of Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My fury go out as fire, and hath burned, And there is none quenching, Because of the evil of your doings.യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളും ആയുള്ളോരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തികൾനിമിത്തം എന്റെ കോപം തീപോലെ ജ്വലിച്ചു ആർക്കും കെടുത്തുകൂടാതവണ്ണം കത്താതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ യഹോവെക്കായി പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രചർമ്മം നീക്കിക്കളവിൻ.

5 Declare in Judah, and in Jerusalem sound, And say ye, `Blow a trumpet in the land,' Call ye fully, and say ye: `Be gathered, and we go in to the fenced city.'യെഹൂദയിൽ അറിയിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി ദേശത്തു കാഹളം ഊതുവാൻ പറവിൻ; കൂടിവരുവിൻ; നമുക്കു ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിലേക്കു പോകാം എന്നു ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു പറവിൻ.

6 Lift up an ensign Zionward, Strengthen yourselves, stand not still, For evil I am bringing in from the north, And a great destruction.സീയോന്നു കൊടി ഉയർത്തുവിൻ; നിൽക്കാതെ ഓടിപ്പോകുവിൻ; ഞാൻ വടക്കുനിന്നു അനർത്ഥവും വലിയ നാശവും വരുത്തും.

7 Gone up hath a lion from his thicket, And a destroyer of nations hath journeyed, He hath come forth from his place To make thy land become a desolation, Thy cities are laid waste, without inhabitant.സിംഹം പള്ളക്കാട്ടിൽ നിന്നു ഇളകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ജാതികളുടെ സംഹാരകൻ ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കുവാൻ തന്റെ സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതവണ്ണം നശിപ്പിക്കും.

8 For this, gird on sackcloth, lament and howl, For the fierce anger of Jehovah hath not turned back from us.ഇതു നിമിത്തം രട്ടുടുപ്പിൻ; വിലപിച്ചു മുറയിടുവിൻ; യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം നമ്മെ വിട്ടുമാറീട്ടില്ലല്ലോ.

9 And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah: `Perish doth the heart of the king, And the heart of the princes, And astonished have been the priests, And the prophets do wonder.'അന്നാളിൽ രാജാവിന്റെ ധൈര്യവും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ ധൈര്യവും ക്ഷയിക്കും; പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ഭ്രമിച്ചും പ്രവാചകന്മാർ സ്തംഭിച്ചും പോകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10 And I say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, Surely thou hast entirely forgotten this people and Jerusalem, saying, Peace is for you, And struck hath a sword unto the soul!'അതിന്നു ഞാൻ: അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, പ്രാണനിൽ വാൾ കടന്നിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമാധാനം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നീ ഈ ജനത്തെയും യെരൂശലേമിനെയും ഏറ്റവും വഞ്ചിച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

11 At that time it is said of this people, And of Jerusalem: `A dry wind of high places in the wilderness,' The way of the daughter of My people, (Not for winnowing, nor for cleansing,)ആ കാലത്തു ഈ ജനത്തോടും യെരൂശലേമിനോടും പറവാനുള്ളതെന്തെന്നാൽ: മരുഭൂമിയിലെ മൊട്ടക്കുന്നുകളിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ഉഷ്ണക്കാറ്റു പേറ്റുവാനല്ല കൊഴിപ്പാനുമല്ല എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിക്കു നേരെ ഊതും.

12 A full wind from these doth come for Me, Now, also, I speak judgments with them.ഇതിലും കൊടുതായൊരു കാറ്റു എന്റെ കല്പനയാൽ വരും; ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ അവരോടു ന്യായവാദം കഴിക്കും.

13 Lo, as clouds he cometh up, And as a hurricane his chariots, Lighter than eagles have been his horses, Wo to us, for we have been spoiled.ഇതാ, അവൻ മേഘങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ കയറിവരുന്നു; അവന്റെ രഥങ്ങൾ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുപോലെ ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ കുതിരകൾ കഴുക്കളെക്കാളും വേഗതയുള്ളവ; അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; നാം നശിച്ചല്ലോ.

14 Wash from evil thy heart, O Jerusalem, That thou mayest be saved, Till when dost thou lodge in thy heart Thoughts of thy strength?യെരൂശലേമേ, നീ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത കഴുകിക്കളക; നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടവിചാരങ്ങൾ എത്രത്തോളം നിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ഇരിക്കും.

15 For a voice is declaring from Dan, And sounding sorrow from mount Ephraim.ദാനിൽനിന്നു ഉറക്കെ ഘോഷിക്കുന്നു; എഫ്രയീംമലയിൽനിന്നു അനർത്ഥത്തെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു.

16 Make ye mention to the nations, Lo, sound ye to Jerusalem: `Besiegers are coming from the land afar off, And they give forth against cities of Judah their voice.ജാതികളോടു പ്രസ്താവിപ്പിൻ; ഇതാ, കോട്ടവളയുന്നവർ ദൂരദേശത്തു നിന്നു വന്നു യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കു നേരെ ആർപ്പുവിളിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യെരൂശലേമിനോടു അറിയിപ്പിൻ.

17 As the keepers of a field They have been against her round about, For with Me she hath been rebellious, An affirmation of Jehovah.'അവൾ എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ വയലിലെ കാവൽക്കാരെപ്പോലെ അവളുടെ നേരെ വന്നു ചുറ്റും വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

18 Thy way and thy doings have done these to thee, This `is' thy vexation, for `it is' bitter, For it hath struck unto thy heart.നിന്റെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും ഹേതുവായിട്ടത്രേ ഇവ നിനക്കു വന്നതു; ഇത്ര കൈപ്പായിരിപ്പാനും നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നു തട്ടുവാനും കാരണം നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത തന്നേ.

19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained `at' the walls of my heart, Make a noise for me doth My heart, I am not silent, For the voice of a trumpet I have heard, O my soul -- a shout of battle!അയ്യോ എന്റെ ഉദരം, എന്റെ ഉദരം! എനിക്കു നോവു കിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അയ്യോ എന്റെ ഹൃദയഭിത്തികൾ! എന്റെ നെഞ്ചിടിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരുന്നുകൂടാ; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാഹളനാദവും യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ആർപ്പുവിളിയും കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

20 Destruction on destruction is proclaimed, For spoiled hath been all the land, Suddenly spoiled have been my tents, In a moment -- my curtains.നാശത്തിന്മേൽ നാശം വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നു; ദേശമൊക്കെയും ശൂന്യമായി പെട്ടെന്നു എന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളും ഒരു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ എന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലകളും കവർച്ചയായ്പോയി.

21 Till when do I see an ensign? Do I hear the voice of a trumpet?എത്രത്തോളം ഞാൻ കൊടി കണ്ടു കാഹളധ്വനി കേൾക്കേണ്ടിവരും?

22 For my people `are' foolish, me they have not known, Foolish sons `are' they, yea, they `are' not intelligent, Wise `are' they to do evil, And to do good they have not known.എന്റെ ജനം ഭോഷന്മാർ; അവർ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവർ ബുദ്ധികെട്ട മക്കൾ; അവർക്കു ഒട്ടും ബോധമില്ല; ദോഷം ചെയ്‍വാൻ അവർ സമർത്ഥന്മാർ; നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാനോ അവർക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.

23 I looked `to' the land, and lo, waste and void, And unto the heavens, and their light is not.ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയെ നോക്കി അതിനെ പാഴും ശൂന്യമായി കണ്ടു; ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തെ നോക്കി; അതിന്നു പ്രകാശം ഇല്ലാതെയിരുന്നു.

24 I have looked `to' the mountains, And lo, they are trembling. And all the hills moved themselves lightly.ഞാൻ പർവ്വതങ്ങളെ നോക്കി; അവ വിറെക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; കുന്നുകൾ എല്ലാം ആടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

25 I have looked, and lo, man is not, And all fowls of the heavens have fled.ഞാൻ നോക്കി, ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയും കണ്ടില്ല; ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾ ഒക്കെയും പറന്നു പോയിരുന്നു.

26 I have looked, and lo, The fruitful place `is' a wilderness, And all its cities have been broken down, Because of Jehovah, Because of the fierceness of His anger.ഞാൻ നോക്കി ഉദ്യാനം മരുഭൂമിയായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും യഹോവയാൽ അവന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം ഹേതുവായി ഇടിഞ്ഞുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു.

27 For thus said Jehovah: All the land is a desolation, but a completion I make not.യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ദേശമൊക്കെയും ശൂന്യമാകും; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ മുഴുവനായി മുടിച്ചുകളകയില്ല.

28 For this doth the land mourn, And black have been the heavens above, because I have spoken -- I have purposed, And I have not repented, Nor do I turn back from it.ഇതുനിമിത്തം ഭൂമി വിലപിക്കും; മീതെ ആകാശം കറുത്തു പോകും; ഞാൻ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അനുതപിക്കയില്ല, പിൻമാറുകയുമില്ല.

29 From the voice of the horseman, And of him shooting with the bow, all the city is fleeing, They have come into thickets, And on cliffs they have gone up, All the city is forsaken, And there is no one dwelling in them.കുതിരച്ചേവകരുടെയും വില്ലാളികളുടെയും ആരവം ഹേതുവായി സകല നഗരവാസികളും ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവർ പള്ളക്കാടുകളിൽ ചെന്നു പാറകളിന്മേൽ കയറുന്നു; സകല നഗരവും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ആരും അവിടെ പാർക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

30 And thou, O spoiled one, what dost thou? For thou puttest on scarlet, For thou adornest thyself `with' ornaments of gold. For thou rendest with pain thine eyes, In vain thou dost make thyself fair, Kicked against thee have doting ones, Thy life they do seek.ഇങ്ങനെ ശൂന്യമായ്പോകുമ്പോൾ നീ എന്തു ചെയ്യും? നീ രക്താംബരം ധരിച്ചാലും പൊന്നാഭരണം അണിഞ്ഞാലും നിന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ മഷി എഴുതിയാലും വ്യർത്ഥമായി നിനക്കു സൌന്ദര്യം വരുത്തുന്നു; നിന്റെ ജാരന്മാർ നിന്നെ നിരസിച്ചു നിനക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു.

31 For a voice as of a sick woman I have heard, Distress, as of one bringing forth a first-born, The voice of the daughter of Zion, She bewaileth herself, she spreadeth out her hands, `Wo to me now, for weary is my soul of slayers!'ഈറ്റുനോവു കിട്ടിയവളുടെ ഒച്ചപോലെയും കടിഞ്ഞൂൽകുട്ടിയെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നവളുടെ ഞരക്കംപോലെയും ഒരു ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; നെടുവീർപ്പിട്ടും കൈമലർത്തിയുംകൊണ്ടു: അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ കുലപാതകന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്ന സീയോൻ പുത്രിയുടെ ശബ്ദം തന്നേ.
