ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരും അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യവും അവന്റെ ആധിപത്യത്തിൻ കീഴുള്ള സകല ഭൂരാജ്യങ്ങളും സകല ജാതികളും യെരൂശലേമിനോടും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടും യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
