Jeremiah 23:38
യഹോവയുടെ ഭാരം എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നുവെങ്കിലോ യഹോവ ഇപ്രാകരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ ഭാരം എന്നു പറയരുതു എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ ഭാരം എന്നീ വാക്കു പറകകൊണ്ടു

| the Lord; | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| Because | יַ֧עַן | yaʿan | YA-an |
| say ye | אֲמָרְכֶ֛ם | ʾămorkem | uh-more-HEM |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| this | הַדָּבָ֥ר | haddābār | ha-da-VAHR |
| word, | הַזֶּ֖ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |

| sent have I and | וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח | wāʾešlaḥ | va-esh-LAHK |
| unto | אֲלֵיכֶם֙ | ʾălêkem | uh-lay-HEM |
| saying, you, | לֵאמֹ֔ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| Ye shall not | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
