Isaiah 66
1 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സ്വർഗ്ഗം എന്റെ സിംഹാസനവും ഭൂമി എന്റെ പാദപീഠവും ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു പണിയുന്ന ആലയം ഏതുവിധം? എന്റെ വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലവും ഏതു?
2 എന്റെ കൈ ഇതൊക്കെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അങ്ങനെയാകുന്നു ഇതൊക്കെയും ഉളവായതു എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അരിഷ്ടനും മനസ്സു തകർന്നവനും എന്റെ വചനത്തിങ്കൽ വിറെക്കുന്നവനുമായ മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ കടാക്ഷിക്കും.
3 കാളയെ അറുക്കയും മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ യാഗം കഴിക്കയും നായുടെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ഭോജനയാഗം കഴിക്കയും പന്നിച്ചോര അർപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ധൂപം കാണിക്കയും മിത്ഥ്യാമൂർത്തിയെ വാഴ്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ഇവർ സ്വന്തവഴികളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയും അവരുടെ മനസ്സു മ്ലേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളിൽ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാനും അവരെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു
4 അവർ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നതു അവർക്കും വരുത്തും; ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആരും ഉത്തരം പറയാതെയും ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ കേൾക്കാതെയും അവർ എനിക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു എനിക്കു പ്രസാദമല്ലാത്തതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.
5 യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്തിങ്കൽ വിറെക്കുന്നവരേ, അവന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ; നിങ്ങളെ പകെച്ചു, എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കിക്കളയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ: ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷം കണ്ടു രസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ തന്നെത്താൻ മഹത്വീകരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ അവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും.
1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
