അനന്തരം യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി ഫിലിപ്പൊസിന്റെ കൈസര്യക്കു അടുത്ത ഊരുകളിലേക്കു പോയി; വഴിയിൽവെച്ചു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു: “ജനങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ആർ എന്നു പറയുന്നു ”എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
