Genesis 31:44
ആകയാൽ വരിക, ഞാനും നീയും തമ്മിൽ ഒരു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്ക; അതു എനിക്കും നിനക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ സാക്ഷിയായിരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

| thou; and | וָאָ֑תָּה | wāʾāttâ | va-AH-ta |
| and let it be | וְהָיָ֥ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| witness a for | לְעֵ֖ד | lĕʿēd | leh-ADE |
| between | בֵּינִ֥י | bênî | bay-NEE |
| me and thee. | וּבֵינֶֽךָ׃ | ûbênekā | oo-vay-NEH-ha |
