കാണ്മാൻ ഭംഗിയുള്ളതും തിന്മാൻ നല്ല ഫലമുള്ളതുമായ ഓരോ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തോട്ടത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ജീവവൃക്ഷവും നന്മതിന്മകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അറിവിന്റെ വൃക്ഷവും യഹോവയായ ദൈവം നിലത്തുനിന്നു മുളെപ്പിച്ചു.

the ground הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה ʾădāmâ uh-da-MA
every כָּל kōl kole
tree עֵ֛ץ ʿēṣ ayts
that is pleasant נֶחְמָ֥ד ḥāmad ha-MAHD
to the sight, לְמַרְאֶ֖ה marʾe mahr-EH
and good וְט֣וֹב ṭôb tove
for food; לְמַֽאֲכָ֑ל maʾăkāl ma-uh-HAHL
the tree וְעֵ֤ץ ʿēṣ ayts
of life הַֽחַיִּים֙ ḥay hai
also in the midst בְּת֣וֹךְ tāwek ta-VEK
of the garden, הַגָּ֔ן gan ɡahn
and the tree וְעֵ֕ץ ʿēṣ ayts
of knowledge הַדַּ֖עַת daʿat da-AT
of good ט֥וֹב ṭôb tove
and evil. וָרָֽע׃ raʿ ra
