Genesis 19:15
ഉഷസ്സായപ്പോൾ ദൂതന്മാർ ലോത്തിനെ ബദ്ധപ്പെടുത്തി: ഈ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ നശിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്റെ ഭാര്യയെയും ഇവിടെ കാണുന്ന നിന്റെ രണ്ടു പുത്രിമാരെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപൊയ്ക്കൊൾക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| Lot, | בְּל֣וֹט | bĕlôṭ | beh-LOTE |
| saying, | לֵאמֹ֑ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| Arise, | קוּם֩ | qûm | koom |
| take | קַ֨ח | qaḥ | kahk |
| אֶֽת | ʾet | et | |
| thy wife, | אִשְׁתְּךָ֜ | ʾištĕkā | eesh-teh-HA |
| two thy and | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| daughters, | שְׁתֵּ֤י | šĕttê | sheh-TAY |
| which are here; | בְנֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ | bĕnōtêkā | veh-noh-TAY-HA |
| lest | הַנִּמְצָאֹ֔ת | hannimṣāʾōt | ha-neem-tsa-OTE |
| consumed be thou | פֶּן | pen | pen |
| in the iniquity | תִּסָּפֶ֖ה | tissāpe | tee-sa-FEH |
| of the city. | בַּעֲוֹ֥ן | baʿăwōn | ba-uh-ONE |
