וַיַּמְרוּ the va-yahm-ROO בִ֨י house vee בֵֽית of vate יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל Israel yees-ra-ALE בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר rebelled ba-meed-BAHR בְּחֻקּוֹתַ֨י against beh-hoo-koh-TAI לֹא me loh הָלָ֜כוּ in ha-LA-hoo וְאֶת the veh-ET מִשְׁפָּטַ֣י wilderness: meesh-pa-TAI מָאָ֗סוּ they ma-AH-soo אֲשֶׁר֩ walked uh-SHER יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה not ya-uh-SEH אֹתָ֤ם in oh-TAHM הָֽאָדָם֙ my ha-ah-DAHM וָחַ֣י statutes, va-HAI בָּהֶ֔ם and ba-HEM וְאֶת they veh-ET שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖י despised sha-beh-toh-TAI חִלְּל֣וּ my hee-leh-LOO מְאֹ֑ד judgments, meh-ODE וָאֹמַ֞ר which va-oh-MAHR לִשְׁפֹּ֨ךְ if leesh-POKE חֲמָתִ֧י a huh-ma-TEE עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם man uh-lay-HEM בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר do, ba-meed-BAHR לְכַלּוֹתָֽם׃ leh-ha-loh-TAHM
