Ezekiel 17:23
യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉയർന്ന പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അതു നടും; അതു കൊമ്പുകളെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു ഫലം കായിച്ചു ഭംഗിയുള്ളോരു ദേവദാരുവായിത്തീരും; അതിന്റെ കീഴിൽ പലവിധം ചിറകുള്ള പക്ഷികളൊക്കെയും പാർക്കും; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളുടെ നിഴലിൽ അവ വസിക്കും.

| cedar: | אַדִּ֑יר | ʾaddîr | ah-DEER |
| and under | וְשָׁכְנ֣וּ | wĕšoknû | veh-shoke-NOO |
| dwell shall it | תַחְתָּ֗יו | taḥtāyw | tahk-TAV |
| all | כֹּ֚ל | kōl | kole |
| fowl | צִפּ֣וֹר | ṣippôr | TSEE-pore |
| of every | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| wing; | כָּנָ֔ף | kānāp | ka-NAHF |
| in the shadow | בְּצֵ֥ל | bĕṣēl | beh-TSALE |
| branches the of | דָּלִיּוֹתָ֖יו | dāliyyôtāyw | da-lee-yoh-TAV |
