മോശെ ദൈവത്തോടു: ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയുമ്പോൾ: അവന്റെ നാമം എന്തെന്നു അവർ എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചാൽ ഞാൻ അവരോടു എന്തു പറയേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

said	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
And Moses	מֹשֶׁ֜ה	mōše	moh-SHEH
unto	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
God,	הָֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים	ʾĕlōhîm	ay-loh-HEEM
Behold,	הִנֵּ֨ה	hinnē	hee-NAY
I	אָֽנֹכִ֣י	ʾānōkî	ah-noh-HEE
come	בָא֮	bôʾ	boh
unto	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
the children	בְּנֵ֣י	bēn	bane
of Israel,	יִשְׂרָאֵל֒	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
and shall say	וְאָֽמַרְתִּ֣י	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
	לָהֶ֔ם
unto them, The God	אֱלֹהֵ֥י	ʾĕlōhîm	ay-loh-HEEM
of your fathers	אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם	ʾāb	av
hath sent	שְׁלָחַ֣נִי	šālaḥ	sha-LAHK
me unto	אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם	ʾēl	ale
you; and they shall say	וְאָֽמְרוּ	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
	לִ֣י
to me, What	מַה	mâ	ma
his name?	שְּׁמ֔וֹ	šēm	shame
what	מָ֥ה	mâ	ma
shall I say	אֹמַ֖ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
unto them?	אֲלֵהֶֽם׃	ʾēl	ale
