וַיִּצְמָ֨א the va-yeets-MA שָׁ֤ם people shahm הָעָם֙ thirsted ha-AM לַמַּ֔יִם there la-MA-yeem וַיָּ֥לֶן for va-YA-len הָעָ֖ם water; ha-AM עַל and al מֹשֶׁ֑ה the moh-SHEH וַיֹּ֗אמֶר people va-YOH-mer לָ֤מָּה murmured LA-ma זֶּה֙ against zeh הֶֽעֱלִיתָ֣נוּ Moses, heh-ay-lee-TA-noo מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם and mee-meets-RA-yeem לְהָמִ֥ית said, leh-ha-MEET אֹתִ֛י Wherefore oh-TEE וְאֶת is veh-ET בָּנַ֥י this ba-NAI וְאֶת that veh-ET מִקְנַ֖י thou meek-NAI בַּצָּמָֽא׃ hast ba-tsa-MA
