അവർ ഇതു കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിന്നു സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും ദൈവരാജ്യം ക്ഷണത്തിൽ വെളിപ്പെടും എന്നു അവർക്കു തോന്നുകയാലും അവൻ ഒരു ഉപമയുംകൂടെ പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
