അവൻ എദോമിൽ കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ ആക്കി; എദോമിൽ എല്ലാടത്തും അവൻ കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ പാർപ്പിച്ചു; എദോമ്യരൊക്കെയും ദാവീദിന്നു ദാസന്മാരായിത്തീർന്നു; ദാവീദ് ചെന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും യഹോവ അവന്നു ജയം നല്കി.
