അതിന്നു അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ: പട്ടണത്തിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള കുതിരകളിൽ അഞ്ചിനെ കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ; നാം ആളയച്ചു നോക്കിക്കേണം; അവർ ഇവിടെ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും നശിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും എന്നപോലെ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

And one אֶחָ֨ד ʾeḥād eh-HAHD
of his servants מֵֽעֲבָדָ֜יו ʿebed eh-VED
and said, וַיֹּ֗אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Let take, וְיִקְחוּ lāqaḥ la-KAHK
I pray thee, נָ֞א nāʾ na
five חֲמִשָּׁ֣ה ḥāmēš ha-MAYSH
of מִן min meen
the horses הַסּוּסִים֮ sûs soos
that remain, הַֽנִּשְׁאָרִים֮ šāʾar sha-AR
which אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
are left נִשְׁאֲרוּ šāʾar sha-AR
בָהּ֒
in the city, (behold, הִנָּ֗ם hinnē hee-NAY
they as all כְּכָל kōl kole
the multitude ההֲמ֤וֹן hāmôn ha-MONE
of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
that אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
are left נִשְׁאֲרוּ šāʾar sha-AR
בָ֔הּ
in it: behold, הִנָּ֕ם hinnē hee-NAY
they even as all כְּכָל kōl kole
the multitude הֲמ֥וֹן hāmôn ha-MONE
of the Israelites יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
that אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER

and let us send וְנִשְׁלְחָ֖ה šālaḥ sha-LAHK
and see. וְנִרְאֶֽה׃ rāʾâ ra-AH
