ഈ ആലയം എത്ര ഉന്നതമായിരുന്നാലും കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ഏവനും അതിനെപ്പറ്റി സ്തംഭിച്ചു: യഹോവ ഈ ദേശത്തിന്നും ഈ ആലയത്തിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ വരുത്തുവാൻ സംഗതി എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിക്കും.
