Ecclesiastes 12:1
നിന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തു നിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിനെ ഓർത്തുകൊൾക; ദുർദ്ദിവസങ്ങൾ വരികയും എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമില്ല എന്നു നീ പറയുന്ന കാലം സമീപിക്കയും

| come | יְמֵ֣י | yĕmê | yeh-MAY |
| not, | הָֽרָעָ֔ה | hārāʿâ | ha-ra-AH |
| nor the years | וְהִגִּ֣יעוּ | wĕhiggîʿû | veh-hee-ɡEE-oo |
| draw nigh, | שָׁנִ֔ים | šānîm | sha-NEEM |
| when | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| say, shalt thou | תֹּאמַ֔ר | tōʾmar | toh-MAHR |
| I have no | אֵֽין | ʾên | ane |
| pleasure | לִ֥י | lî | lee |
| in them; | בָהֶ֖ם | bāhem | va-HEM |
