Daniel 9:27
അവൻ ഒരു ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തേക്കു പലരോടും നിയമത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കും; ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ അവൻ ഹനനയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും നിർത്തലാക്കിളക്കയും; മ്ളേച്ഛതകളുടെ ചിറകിന്മേൽ ശൂന്യമാക്കുന്നവൻ വരും; നിർണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന സമാപ്തിയോളം ശൂന്യമാക്കുന്നവന്റെ മേൽ കോപം ചൊരിയും.

| for one | שָׁב֣וּעַ | šābûaʿ | sha-VOO-ah |
| week: | אֶחָ֑ד | ʾeḥād | eh-HAHD |
| midst the in and | וַחֲצִ֨י | waḥăṣî | va-huh-TSEE |
| of the week | הַשָּׁב֜וּעַ | haššābûaʿ | ha-sha-VOO-ah |
| sacrifice the cause shall he | יַשְׁבִּ֣ית׀ | yašbît | yahsh-BEET |
| and the oblation | זֶ֣בַח | zebaḥ | ZEH-vahk |
| cease, to | וּמִנְחָ֗ה | ûminḥâ | oo-meen-HA |
| and for | וְעַ֨ל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| the overspreading | כְּנַ֤ף | kĕnap | keh-NAHF |
| abominations of | שִׁקּוּצִים֙ | šiqqûṣîm | shee-koo-TSEEM |
| he shall make it desolate, | מְשֹׁמֵ֔ם | mĕšōmēm | meh-shoh-MAME |
| until even | וְעַד | wĕʿad | veh-AD |
| the consummation, | כָּלָה֙ | kālāh | ka-LA |
| and that determined | וְנֶ֣חֱרָצָ֔ה | wĕneḥĕrāṣâ | veh-NEH-hay-ra-TSA |
| poured be shall | תִּתַּ֖ךְ | tittak | tee-TAHK |
| upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the desolate. | שֹׁמֵֽם׃ | šōmēm | shoh-MAME |
