അതിന്നു അവർ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ രാജാവേ, യെഹൂദാപ്രവാസികളിൽ ഒരുത്തനായ ദാനീയേൽ തിരുമേനിയെയാകട്ടെ തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിച്ച വിരോധകല്പനയാകട്ടെ കൂട്ടാക്കാതെ, ദിവസം മൂന്നു പ്രവാശ്യം അപേക്ഷ കഴിച്ചുവരുന്നു എന്നു ഉണർത്തിച്ചു.

of	מִן	min	meen
the children	בְּנֵ֨י	bēn	bane
of the captivity	גָלוּתָ֜א	gālût	ɡa-LOOT
of	דִּ֣י	dî	dee
Judah,	יְה֗וּד	yĕhûd	yeh-HOOD
not	לָא	lāʾ	la
regardeth	שָׂ֨ם	śûm	soom
	עֲלָ֤יךְ	ʿal	al
O king,	מַלְכָּא֙	melek	meh-LEK
	טְעֵ֔ם	ṭĕʿēm	teh-AME
thee,	וְעַל	ʿal	al
nor the decree	אֱסָרָ֖א	ʾĕsār	ay-SAHR
that	דִּ֣י	dî	dee
thou hast signed,	רְשַׁ֑מְתָּ	rĕšam	reh-SHAHM
times	וְזִמְנִ֤ין	zĕmān	zeh-MAHN
three	תְּלָתָה֙	tĕlāt	teh-LAHT
a day.	בְּיוֹמָ֔א	yôm	yome
but maketh	בָּעֵ֖א	bĕʿāʾ	beh-AH
his petition	בָּעוּתֵֽהּ׃	bāʿû	ba-OO
