Daniel 2 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 In the second year of the rule of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was troubled and his sleep went from him.നെബൂഖദ് നേസരിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ നെബൂഖദ് നേസർ സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടു; അവന്റെ മനസ്സു വ്യാകുലപ്പെട്ടു; അവന്നു ഉറക്കമില്ലാതെയായി.

2 Then the king gave orders that the wonder-workers, and the users of secret arts, and those who made use of evil powers, and the Chaldaeans, were to be sent for to make clear to the king his dreams. So they came and took their places before the king.രാജാവിനോടു സ്വപ്നം അറിയിപ്പാൻ മന്ത്രവാദികളെയും ആഭിചാരകന്മാരെയും ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരെയും കല്ദയരെയും വിളിപ്പാൻ രാജാവു കല്പിച്ചു; അവർ വന്നു രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ നിന്നു.

3 And the king said to them, I have had a dream, and my spirit is troubled by the desire to have the dream made clear to me.രാജാവു അവരോടു: ഞാൻ ഒരു സ്വപ്നംകണ്ടു; സ്വപ്നം ഓർക്കാഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്റെ മനസ്സു വ്യാകുലപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

4 Then the Chaldaeans said to the king in the Aramaean language, O King, have life for ever: give your servants an account of your dream, and we will make clear to you the sense of it.അതിന്നു കല്ദയർ അരാമ്യഭാഷയിൽ രാജാവിനോടു: രാജാവു ദീർഘായുസ്സായിരിക്കട്ടെ; സ്വപ്നം അടിയങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചാലും; അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം എന്നുണർത്തിച്ചു.

5 The king made answer and said to the Chaldaeans, This is my decision: if you do not make clear to me the dream and the sense of it, you will be cut in bits and your houses made waste.രാജാവു കല്ദയരോടു ഉത്തരം അരുളിയതു: വിധി കല്പിച്ചു പോയി; സ്വപ്നവും അർത്ഥവും അറിയിക്കാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങളെ കഷണംകഷണമായി ശകലിക്കയും വീടുകളെ കുപ്പക്കുന്നാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും,

6 But if you make clear the dream and the sense of it, you will have from me offerings and rewards and great honour: so make clear to me the dream and the sense of it.സ്വപ്നവും അർത്ഥവും അറിയിച്ചാലോ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമ്മാനവും പ്രതിഫലവും ബഹുമാനവും ലഭിക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു സ്വപ്നവും അർത്ഥവും അറിയിപ്പിൻ.

7 A second time they said in answer, Let the king give his servants an account of his dream, and we will make clear the sense.അവർ പിന്നെയും: രാജാവു സ്വപ്നം അടിയങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചാലും; അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം എന്നു ഉണർത്തിച്ചു.

8 The king made answer and said, I am certain that you are attempting to get more time, because you see that my decision is fixed;അതിന്നു രാജാവു മറുപടി കല്പിച്ചതു: വിധികല്പിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ കാലതാമസം വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു എന്നു എനിക്കു മനസ്സിലായി.

9 That if you do not make my dream clear to me there is only one fate for you: for you have made ready false and evil words to say before me till the times are changed: so give me an account of the dream, and I will be certain that you are able to make the sense of it clear.നിങ്ങൾ സ്വപ്നം അറിയിക്കാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു വിധി മാത്രമേയുള്ളു; സമയം മാറുവോളം എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വ്യാജവും പൊളിവാക്കും പറവാൻ നിങ്ങൾ യോജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; സ്വപ്നം പറവിൻ; എന്നാൽ അർത്ഥവും അറിയിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയും എന്നു എനിക്കു ബോധ്യമാകും.

10 Then the Chaldaeans said to the king in answer, There is not a man on earth able to make clear the king's business; for no king, however great his power, has ever made such a request to any wonder-worker or user of secret arts or Chaldaean.കല്ദയർ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ ഉത്തരം ബോധിപ്പിച്ചതു: രാജാവിന്റെ കാര്യം അറിയിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇല്ല; എത്രയും മഹാനും ബലവാനുമായ ഏതൊരു രാജാവും ഇങ്ങിനെയുള്ള കാര്യം ഒരു മന്ത്രവാദിയോടോ ആഭിചാരകനോടോ കല്ദയനോടോ ഒരിക്കലും ചോദിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

11 The king's request is a very hard one, and there is no other who is able to make it clear to the king, but the gods, whose living-place is not with flesh.രാജാവു ചോദിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം പ്രയാസമുള്ളതാകുന്നു; തിരുമുമ്പിൽ അതു അറിയിപ്പാൻ ജഡവാസമില്ലാത്ത ദേവന്മാർക്കല്ലാതെ മറ്റാർക്കും കഴികയില്ല.

12 Because of this the king was angry and full of wrath, and gave orders for the destruction of all the wise men of Babylon.ഇതു ഹേതുവായിട്ടു രാജാവു കോപിച്ചു അത്യന്തം ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു ബാബേലിലെ സകല വിദ്വാന്മരെയും നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കല്പന കൊടുത്തു.

13 So the order went out that the wise men were to be put to death; and they were looking for Daniel and his friends to put them to death.അങ്ങനെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ കൊല്ലുവാനുള്ള തീർപ്പു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവർ ദാനീയേലിനെയും കൂട്ടുകാരനെയും കൂടെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു.

14 Then Daniel gave an answer with wisdom and good sense to Arioch, the captain of the king's armed men, who had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon;എന്നാൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അകമ്പടിനായകനായി ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ കൊന്നുകളവാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു അർയ്യോക്കിനോടു ദാനീയേൽ ബുദ്ധിയോടും വിവേകത്തോടും കൂടെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

15 He made answer and said to Arioch, O captain of the king, why is the king's order so cruel? Then Arioch gave Daniel an account of the business.രാജ സന്നിധിയിൽനിന്നു ഇത്ര കഠിനകല്പന പുറപ്പെടുവാൻ സംഗതി എന്തു എന്നു അവൻ രാജാവിന്റെ സേനാപതിയായ അർയ്യോക്കിനോടു ചോദിച്ചു; അർയ്യോക്ക് ദാനീയേലിനോടു കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചു;

16 And Daniel went in and made a request to the king to give him time and he would make clear the sense of his dream to the king.ദാനീയേൽ അകത്തു ചെന്നു രാജാവിനോടു തനിക്കു സമയം തരേണം എന്നും താൻ രാജാവിനോടു അർത്ഥം അറിയിക്കാമെന്നും ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

17 And Daniel went to his house and gave his friends Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah the news:പിന്നെ ദാനീയേൽ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു, താനും കൂട്ടുകാരും ബാബേലിലെ ശേഷം വിദ്വാന്മാരോടുകൂടെ നശിച്ചുപോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

18 So that they might make a request for the mercy of the God of heaven in the question of this secret; so that Daniel and his friends might not come to destruction with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.ഈ രഹസ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കരുണ അപേക്ഷിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം കൂട്ടുകാരനായ ഹനന്യാവോടും മീശായേലിനോടും അസർയ്യാവോടും കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചു.

19 Then the secret was made clear to Daniel in a vision of the night. And Daniel gave blessing to the God of heaven.അങ്ങനെ ആ രഹസ്യം ദാനീയേലിന്നു രാത്രിദർശനത്തിൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു; ദാനീയേൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞതു:

20 And Daniel said in answer, May the name of God be praised for ever and ever: for wisdom and strength are his:ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമം എന്നും എന്നേക്കും സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ; ജ്ഞാനവും ബലവും അവന്നുള്ളതല്ലോ.

21 By him times and years are changed: by him kings are taken away and kings are lifted up: he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those whose minds are awake:അവൻ കാലങ്ങളെയും സമയങ്ങളെയും മാറ്റുന്നു; അവൻ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ നീക്കുകയും രാജാക്കന്മാരെ വാഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവൻ ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കു ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകികൾക്കു ബുദ്ധിയും കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

22 He is the unveiler of deep and secret things: he has knowledge of what is in the dark, and the light has its living-place with him.അവൻ അഗാധവും ഗൂഢവുമായതു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; അവൻ ഇരുട്ടിൽ ഉള്ളതു അറിയുന്നു; വെളിച്ചം അവനോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കുന്നു.

23 I give you praise and worship, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and strength, and have now made clear to me what we were requesting from you: for you have given us knowledge of the king's business.എന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ എനിക്കു ജ്ഞാനവും ബലവും തന്നു, ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചതു ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നെ അറിയിച്ചു രാജാവിന്റെ കാര്യം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിത്തന്നിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തി സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

24 For this reason Daniel went to Arioch, to whom the king had given orders for the destruction of the wise men of Babylon, and said to him, Do not put to death the wise men of Babylon: take me in before the king and I will make clear to him the sense of the dream.അതുകൊണ്ടു ദാനീയേൽ, ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ നിശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ രാജാവു നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന അർയ്യോക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു: ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കരുതു; എന്നെ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം; ഞാൻ രാജാവിനെ അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

25 Then Arioch quickly took Daniel in before the king, and said to him, Here is a man from among the prisoners of Judah, who will make clear to the king the sense of the dream.അർയ്യോക്ക് ദാനീയേലിനെ വേഗം രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു: രാജാവിനെ അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെഹൂദാപ്രവാസികളിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉണർത്തിച്ചു.

26 The king made answer and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are you able to make clear to me the dream which I saw and its sense?ബേൽത്ത് ശസ്സർ എന്നും പേരുള്ള ദാനീയേലിനോടു രാജാവു: ഞാൻ കണ്ട സ്വപ്നവും അർത്ഥവും അറിയിപ്പാൻ നിനക്കു കഴിയുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

27 Then Daniel said in answer to the king, No wise men, or users of secret arts, or wonder-workers, or readers of signs, are able to make clear to the king the secret he is searching for;ദാനീയേൽ രാജസാന്നിധിയിൽ ഉത്തരം ബോധിപ്പിച്ചതു: രാജാവു ചോദിച്ച ഗുപ്തകാര്യം വിദ്വാന്മാർക്കും ആഭിചാരകന്മാർക്കും മന്ത്രവാദികൾക്കും ശകുനവാദികൾക്കും രാജാവിനെ അറിയിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്നതല്ല.

28 But there is a God in heaven, the unveiler of secrets, and he has given to King Nebuchadnezzar knowledge of what will take place in the last days. Your dreams and the visions of your head on your bed are these:എങ്കിലും രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഒരു ദൈവം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ ഭാവികാലത്തു സംഭവിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നതു നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ രാജാവിനെ അറിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. സ്വപ്നവും പള്ളിമെത്തയിൽവെച്ചു തിരുമനസ്സിൽ ഉണ്ടായ ദർശനങ്ങളും ആവിതു:

29 As for you, O King, the thoughts which came to you on your bed were of what will come about after this: and the unveiler of secrets has made clear to you what is to come.രാജാവേ, ഇനിമേൽ സംഭവിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തെന്നുള്ള വിചാരം പള്ളിമെത്തയിൽവെച്ചു തിരുമനസ്സിൽ ഉണ്ടായി; രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവൻ സംഭവിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നതു അറിയിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

30 As for me, this secret is not made clear to me because of any wisdom which I have more than any living man, but in order that the sense of the dream may be made clear to the king, and that you may have knowledge of the thoughts of your heart.എനിക്കോ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന യാതൊരുത്തനെക്കാളും അധികമായ ജ്ഞാനം ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടല്ല, രാജാവിനോടു അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും തിരുമനസ്സിലെ വിചാരം തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നും അത്രേ ഈ രഹസ്യം എനിക്കു വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു.

31 You, O King, were looking, and a great image was there. This image, which was very great, and whose glory was very bright, was placed before you: its form sent fear into the heart.രാജാവു കണ്ട ദർശനമോ: വലിയൊരു ബിംബം; വലിപ്പമേറിയതും വിശഷശോഭ യുള്ളതുമായ ആ ബിംബം തിരുമുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു; അതിന്റെ രൂപം ഭയങ്കരമായിരുന്നു.

32 As for this image, its head was made of the best gold, its breast and its arms were of silver, its middle and its sides were of brass,ബിംബത്തിന്റെ തല തങ്കംകൊണ്ടും നെഞ്ചും കയ്യും വെള്ളികൊണ്ടും വയറും അരയും താമ്രംകൊണ്ടും തുട ഇരിമ്പു കൊണ്ടു

33 Its legs of iron, its feet were in part of iron and in part of potter's earth.കാൽ പാതി ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടും പാതി കളിമണ്ണുകൊണ്ടും ആയയിരുന്നു.

34 While you were looking at it, a stone was cut out, but not by hands, and it gave the image a blow on its feet, which were of iron and earth, and they were broken in bits.തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ കൈ തൊടാതെ ഒരു കല്ലു പറിഞ്ഞുവന്നു ബിംബത്തെ ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണുംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കാലിൽ അടിച്ചു തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

35 Then the iron and the earth, the brass and the silver and the gold, were smashed together, and became like the dust on the floors where grain is crushed in summer; and the wind took them away so that no sign of them was to be seen: and the stone which gave the image a blow became a great mountain, covering all the earth.ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും താമ്രവും വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഒരുപോലെ തകർന്നു വേനൽക്കാലത്തു കളത്തിലെ പതിർപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നു; ഒരിടത്തും തങ്ങാതവണ്ണം കാറ്റു അവയെ പറപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; ബിംബത്തെ അടിച്ച കല്ലു ഒരു മഹാപർവ്വതമായിത്തീർന്നു ഭൂമിയിൽ ഒക്കെയും നിറഞ്ഞു.

36 This is the dream; and we will make clear to the king the sense of it.ഇതത്രേ സ്വപ്നം; അർത്ഥവും അടിയങ്ങൾ തിരുമനസ്സു അറിയിക്കാം.

37 You, O King, king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the strength, and the glory,രാജാവേ, തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു രാജാധിരാജാവാകുന്നു; സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവം തിരുമനസ്സിലേക്കു രാജത്വവും ഐശ്വര്യവും ശക്തിയും മഹത്വവും നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

38 Wherever the children of men are living; into whose hands he has given the beasts of the field and the birds of heaven, and has made you ruler over them all, you are the head of gold.മനുഷ്യർ പാർക്കുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും അവരെയും കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളെയും അവൻ തൃക്കയ്യിൽ തന്നു, എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും തിരുമനസ്സിലെ അധിപതി ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള തല തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.

39 And after you another kingdom, lower than you, will come to power; and a third kingdom, of brass, ruling over all the earth.തിരുമനസ്സിലെ ശേഷം തിരുമേനിയെക്കാൾ താണതായ മറ്റൊരു രാജത്വവും സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലും വാഴുവാനിരിക്കുന്നതായി താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള മൂന്നാമതൊരു രാജത്വവും ഉത്ഭവിക്കും.

40 And the fourth kingdom will be strong as iron: because, as all things are broken and overcome by iron, so it will have the power of crushing and smashing down all the earth.നാലാമത്തെ രാജത്വം ഇരിമ്പുപോലെ ബലമുള്ളതായിരിക്കും; ഇരിമ്പു സകലത്തെയും തകർത്തു കീഴടക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. തകർക്കുന്ന ഇരിമ്പുപോലെ അതു അവയെ ഒക്കെയും ഇടിച്ചു തകർത്തുകളയും.

41 And as you saw the feet and toes, part of potter's work and part of iron, there will be a division in the kingdom; but there will be some of the strength of iron in it, because you saw the iron mixed with the potter's earth.കാലും കാൽ വിരലും പാതി കളിമണ്ണും പാതി ഇരുമ്പുംകൊണ്ടുള്ളതായി കണ്ടതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോ: അതു ഒരു ഭിന്നരാജത്വം ആയിരിക്കും; എങ്കിലും ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും ഇടകലർന്നതായി കണ്ടതുപോലെ അതിൽ ഇരിമ്പിന്നുള്ള ബലം കുറെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.

42 And as the toes of the feet were in part of iron and in part of earth, so part of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will readily be broken.കാൽവിരൽ പാതി ഇരിമ്പും പാതി കളിമണ്ണുംകൊണ്ടു ആയിരുന്നതുപോലെ രാജത്വം ഒട്ടു ബലമുള്ളതും ഒട്ടു ഉടഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നതും ആയിരിക്കും.

43 And as you saw the iron mixed with earth, they will give their daughters to one another as wives: but they will not be united one with another, even as iron is not mixed with earth.ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും ഇടകലർന്നതായി കണ്ടതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോ: അവർ മനുഷ്യബീജത്താൽ തമ്മിൽ ഇടകലരുമെങ്കിലും ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും തമ്മിൽ ചേരാതിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ തമ്മിൽ ചേരുകയില്ല.

44 And in the days of those kings, the God of heaven will put up a kingdom which will never come to destruction, and its power will never be given into the hands of another people, and all these kingdoms will be broken and overcome by it, but it will keep its place for ever.ഈ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലത്തു സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവം ഒരുനാളും നശിച്ചുപോകാത്ത ഒരു രാജത്വം സ്ഥാപിക്കും; ആ രാജത്വം വേറെ ഒരു ജാതിക്കു ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല; അതു ഈ രാജത്വങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും തകർത്തു നശിപ്പിക്കയും എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

45 Because you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that by it the iron and the brass and the earth and the silver and the gold were broken to bits, a great God has given the king knowledge of what is to take place in the future: the dream is fixed, and its sense is certain.കൈ തൊടാതെ ഒരു കല്ലു പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു പറിഞ്ഞുവന്നു ഇരിമ്പും താമ്രവും കളിമണ്ണും വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞതായി കണ്ടതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോ: മഹാദൈവം മേലാൽ സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതു രാജാവിനെ അറിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; സ്വപ്നം നിശ്ചയവും അർത്ഥം സത്യവും ആകുന്നു.

46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar, falling down on his face, gave worship to Daniel, and gave orders for an offering and spices to be given to him;അപ്പോൾ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർരാജാവു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു ദാനീയേലിനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു, അവന്നു ഒരു വഴിപാടും സൌരഭ്യവാസനയും അർപ്പിക്കേണമെന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. രാജാവു ദാനീയേലിനോടു:

47 And the king made answer to Daniel and said, Truly, your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings, and an unveiler of secrets, for you have been able to make this secret clear.നീ ഈ രഹസ്യം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ പ്രാപ്തനായതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ദൈവാധി ദൈവവും രാജാധികർത്താവും രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു സത്യം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

48 Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him offerings in great number, and made him ruler over all the land of Babylon, and chief over all the wise men of Babylon.രാജാവു ദാനീയേലിനെ മഹാനാക്കി, അവന്നു അനേകം വലിയ സമ്മാനങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു, അവനെ ബാബേൽസംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയും ബാബേലിലെ സകലവിദ്വാന്മാർക്കും പ്രധാനവിചാരകനും ആക്കിവെച്ചു.

49 And at Daniel's request, the king gave Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego authority over the business of the land of Babylon: but Daniel was kept near the king's person.ദാനീയേലിന്റെ അപേക്ഷപ്രകാരം രാജാവു ശദ്രക്കിനെയും മേശക്കിനെയും അബേദ്നെഗോവെയും ബാബേൽ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ കാര്യാദികൾക്കു മേൽവിചാരകരാക്കി; ദാനീയേലോ രാജാവിന്റെ കോവിലകത്തു പാർത്തു.
