Amos 9:3
അവർ കർമ്മേലിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിൽ ഒളിച്ചിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ അവരെ തിരഞ്ഞു അവിടെനിന്നു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരും; അവർ എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽനിന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയിൽ മറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ അവിടെ സർപ്പത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടു അതു അവരെ കടിക്കും.

| and take out | אֲחַפֵּ֖שׂ | ʾăḥappēś | uh-ha-PASE |
| them thence; | וּלְקַחְתִּ֑ים | ûlĕqaḥtîm | oo-leh-kahk-TEEM |
| and though | וְאִם | wĕʾim | veh-EEM |
| hid be they | יִסָּ֨תְר֜וּ | yissātĕrû | yee-SA-teh-ROO |
| from | מִנֶּ֤גֶד | minneged | mee-NEH-ɡed |
| my sight | עֵינַי֙ | ʿênay | ay-NA |
| bottom the in | בְּקַרְקַ֣ע | bĕqarqaʿ | beh-kahr-KA |
| of the sea, | הַיָּ֔ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| thence | מִשָּׁ֛ם | miššām | mee-SHAHM |
| command I will | אֲצַוֶּ֥ה | ʾăṣawwe | uh-tsa-WEH |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the serpent, | הַנָּחָ֖שׁ | hannāḥāš | ha-na-HAHSH |
| and he shall bite | וּנְשָׁכָֽם׃ | ûnĕšākām | oo-neh-sha-HAHM |
