Amos 2 - ASV (Malayalam)

1 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മോവാബിന്റെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമം നിമിത്തം അവൻ എദോംരാജാവിന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ ചുട്ടു കുമ്മായമാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ തന്നെ, ഞാൻ ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.

2 but I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;ഞാൻ മോവാബിൽ ഒരു തീ അയക്കും; അതു കെരീയോത്തിന്റെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; മോവാബ് കലഹത്തോടും ആർപ്പോടും കാഹളനാദത്തോടും കൂടെ മരിക്കും.

3 and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.ഞാൻ ന്യായാധിപതിയെ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചു, അതിന്റെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ കൊല്ലും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

4 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk:യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യെഹൂദയുടെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമംനിമിത്തം, അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ നിരസിക്കയും അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ പിന്തുടർന്നുപോന്ന അവരുടെ വ്യാജമൂർത്തികൾ അവരെ തെറ്റിനടക്കുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാൽ തന്നേ, ഞാൻ ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.

5 but I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയിൽ ഒരു തീ അയക്കും; അതു യെരൂശലേമിലെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

6 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes-യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമം നിമിത്തം, അവർ നീതിമാനെ പണത്തിന്നും ദരിദ്രനെ ഒരുകൂട്ടു ചെരിപ്പിന്നും വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ തന്നേ, ഞാൻ ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.

7 they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the `same' maiden, to profane my holy name:അവർ എളിയവരുടെ തലയിൽ മൺപൊടി കാണ്മാൻ കാംക്ഷിക്കയും സാധുക്കളുടെ വഴി മറിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരു പുരുഷനും അവന്റെ അപ്പനും ഒരേ യുവതിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നു.

8 and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.അവർ ഏതു ബലിപീഠത്തിന്നരികത്തും പണയം വാങ്ങിയ വസ്ത്രം വിരിച്ചു കിടന്നുറങ്ങുകയും പിഴ അടെച്ചവരുടെ വീഞ്ഞു തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.ഞാനോ അമോർയ്യനെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ ഉയരം ദേവദാരുക്കളുടെ ഉയരംപോലെയായിരുന്നു; അവർ കരുവേലകങ്ങൾപോലെ ശക്തിയുള്ളവനുമായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ മീതെ അവന്റെ ഫലവും താഴെ അവന്റെ വേരും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

10 Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു, അമോർയ്യന്റെ ദേശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം മരുഭൂമിയൽകൂടി നടത്തി.

11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചിലരെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരായും നിങ്ങളുടെ യൌവനക്കാരിൽ ചിലരെ വ്രതസ്ഥന്മാരായും എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അല്ലയോ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളേ, എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

12 But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വ്രതസ്ഥന്മാർക്കു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്കയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോടു: പ്രവചിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

13 Behold, I will press `you' in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves.കറ്റ കയറ്റി വണ്ടി അമർത്തുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരിക്കുന്നിടത്തു അമർത്തിക്കളയും.

14 And flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself;അങ്ങനെ വേഗവാന്മാർക്കു ശരണം നശിക്കും; ബലവാന്റെ ശക്തി നിലനിൽക്കയില്ല; വീരൻ തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയില്ല;

15 neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver `himself'; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself;വില്ലാളി ഉറെച്ചുനിൽക്കയില്ല; ശീഘ്രഗാമി തന്നെത്താൻ വിടുവിക്കയില്ല; കുതിര കയറി ഓടുന്നവൻ തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല.

16 and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.വീരന്മാരിൽ ധൈര്യമേറിയവൻ അന്നാളിൽ നഗ്നനായി ഓടിപ്പോകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
