Acts 5 - ASV (Malayalam)

1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,എന്നാൽ അനന്യാസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു പുരുഷൻ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ സഫീരയോടു കൂടെ ഒരു നിലം വിറ്റു.

2 and kept back `part' of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.ഭാര്യയുടെ അറിവോടെ വിലയിൽ കുറെ എടുത്തുവെച്ചു ഒരംശം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ കാല്കൽ വെച്ചു.

3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back `part' of the price of the land?അപ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ്: അനന്യാസേ, പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനോടു വ്യാജം കാണിപ്പാനും നിലത്തിന്റെ വിലയിൽ കുറെ എടുത്തുവെപ്പാനും സാത്താൻ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം കൈവശമാക്കിയതു എന്തു?

4 While it remained, did it not remain thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thy power? How is it that thou hast conceived this thing in thy heart? thou has not lied unto men, but unto God.അതു വില്ക്കും മുമ്പെ നിന്റേതായിരുന്നില്ലെയോ? വിറ്റശേഷവും നിന്റെ കൈവശം അല്ലാഞ്ഞുവോ? ഈ കാര്യത്തിനു നീ മനസ്സുവെച്ചതു എന്തു? മനുഷ്യരോടല്ല ദൈവത്തോടത്രേ നീ വ്യാജം കാണിച്ചതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down and gave up the ghost: and great fear came upon all that heard it.ഈ വാക്കു കേട്ടിട്ടു അനന്യാസ് വീണു പ്രാണനെ വിട്ടു; ഇതു കേട്ടവർക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും മഹാഭയം ഉണ്ടായി.

6 And the young men arose and wrapped him round, and they carried him out and buried him.ബാല്യക്കാർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവനെ ശീലപൊതിഞ്ഞു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കുഴിച്ചിട്ടു.

7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.ഏകദേശം മൂന്നു മണിനേരം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ ഈ സംഭവിച്ചതു ഒന്നും അറിയാതെ അകത്തുവന്നു.

8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much. And she said, Yea, for so much.പത്രൊസ് അവളോടു: ഇത്രെക്കോ നിങ്ങൾ നിലം വിറ്റതു? പറക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അതേ, ഇത്രെക്കു തന്നെ എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു.

9 But Peter `said' unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.പത്രൊസ് അവളോടു: കർത്താവിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പരീക്ഷിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ ഒത്തതു എന്തു? ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനെ കുഴിച്ചിട്ടവരുടെ കാൽ വാതിൽക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവർ നിന്നെയും പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10 And she fell down immediately at his feet, and gave up the ghost: and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.ഉടനെ അവൾ അവന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ വീണു പ്രാണനെ വിട്ടു; ബാല്യക്കാർ അകത്തു വന്നു അവൾ മരിച്ചു എന്നു കണ്ടു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി ഭർത്താവിന്റെ അരികെ കുഴിച്ചിട്ടു.

11 And great fear came upon the whole church, and upon all that heard these things.സർവസഭെക്കും ഇതു കേട്ടവർക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും മഹാഭയം ഉണ്ടായി.

12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ കയ്യാൽ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ പല അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും നടന്നു; അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഏകമനസ്സോടെ ശലോമോന്റെ മണ്ഡപത്തിൽ കൂടിവരിക പതിവായിരുന്നു.

13 But of the rest durst no man join himself to them: howbeit the people magnified them;മറ്റുള്ളവരിൽ ആരും അവരോടു ചേരുവാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല; ജനമോ അവരെ പുകഴ്ത്തിപ്പോന്നു.

14 and believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of them and women;മേല്ക്കുമേൽ അനവധി പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്ത്രീകളും കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു ചേർന്നുവന്നു.

15 insomuch that they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that, as Peter came by, at the least his shadow might overshadow some one of them.രോഗികളെ പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവന്നു, പത്രൊസ് കടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ അവന്റെ നിഴൽ എങ്കിലും അവരിൽ വല്ലവരുടെയുംമേൽ വീഴേണ്ടതിന്നു വീഥികളിൽ വിരിപ്പിന്മേലും കിടക്കമേലും കിടത്തും.

16 And there also came together the multitudes from the cities round about Jerusalem, bring sick folk, and them that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.അതുകൂടാതെ യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു പുരുഷാരം വന്നുകൂടി രോഗികളെയും അശുദ്ധാത്മാക്കൾ ബാധിച്ചവരെയും കൊണ്ടുവരികയും അവർ എല്ലാവരും സൌഖ്യം പ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

17 But the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy,പിന്നെ മഹാപുരോഹിതനും സദൂക്യരുടെ മതക്കാരായ അവന്റെ പക്ഷക്കാരൊക്കെയും

18 and laid hands on the apostles, and put them in public ward.അസൂയ നിറഞ്ഞു എഴുന്നേറ്റു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെ പിടിച്ചു പൊതു തടവിൽ ആക്കി.

19 But an angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them out, and said,രാത്രിയിലോ കർത്താവിന്റെ ദൂതൻ കാരാഗൃഹവാതിൽ തുറന്നു അവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടു വന്നു:

20 Go ye, and stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this Life.നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു ഈ ജീവന്റെ വചനം എല്ലാം ജനത്തോടു പ്രസ്താവിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 And when they heard `this', they entered into the temple about daybreak, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison-house to have them brought.അവർ കേട്ടു പുലർച്ചെക്കു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; മഹാപുരോഹിതനും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും വന്നു ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തെയും യിസ്രയേൽമക്കളുടെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെയും എല്ലാം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി, അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ തടവിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു.

22 But the officers that came found them not in the prison; and they returned, and told,ചേവകർ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ അവരെ കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ കാണാതെ മടങ്ങിവന്നു: കാരാഗൃഹം നല്ല സൂക്ഷമത്തോടെ പൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നതും കാവൽക്കാർ വാതിൽക്കൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതും ഞങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു;

23 saying, The prison-house we found shut in all safety, and the keepers standing at the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.തുറന്നപ്പോഴോ അകത്തു ആരെയും കണ്ടില്ല എന്നു അറിയിച്ചു.

24 Now when the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were much perplexed concerning them whereunto this would grow.ഈ വാക്കു കേട്ടിട്ടു ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ പടനായകനും മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ഇതു എന്തായിത്തീരും എന്നു അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു ചഞ്ചലിച്ചു.

25 And there came one and told them, Behold, the men whom ye put in the prison are in the temple standing and teaching the people.അപ്പോൾ ഒരുത്തൻ വന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ തടവിൽ ആക്കിയ പുരുഷന്മാർ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു ജനത്തെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them, `but' without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.പടനായകൻ ചേവകരുമായി ചെന്നു, ജനം കല്ലെറിയും എന്നു ഭയപ്പെടുകയാൽ ബലാൽക്കാരം ചെയ്യാതെ അവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,അങ്ങനെ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിന്മുമ്പാകെ നിറുത്തി; മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ അവരോടു:

28 saying, We strictly charged you not to teach in this name: and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.ഈ നാമത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു അമർച്ചയായി കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ; നിങ്ങളോ യെരൂശലേമിനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉപദേശംകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആ മനുഷ്യന്റെ രക്തം ഞങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ വരുത്തുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു. എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

29 But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.അതിന്നു പത്രൊസും ശേഷം അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും: മനുഷ്യരെക്കാൾ ദൈവത്തെ അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew, hanging him on a tree.നിങ്ങൾ മരത്തിൽ തൂക്കിക്കൊന്ന യേശുവിനെ നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവം ഉയിർപ്പിച്ചു;

31 Him did God exalt with his right hand `to be' a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.യിസ്രായേലിന്നു മാനസാന്തരവും പാപമോചനവും നല്കുവാൻ ദൈവം അവനെ പ്രഭുവായും രക്ഷിതാവായും തന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യാൽ ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

32 And we are witnesses of these things; and `so is' the Holy Spirit, whom God hath given to them that obey him.ഈ വസ്തുതെക്കു ഞങ്ങളും ദൈവം തന്നെ അനുസരിക്കുന്നവർക്കു നല്കിയ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവും സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

33 But they, when they heard this, were cut to the heart, and minded to slay them.ഇതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവർ കോപപരവശരായി അവരെ ഒടുക്കിക്കളവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു.

34 But there stood up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in honor of all the people, and commanded to put the men forth a little while.അപ്പോൾ സർവ്വ ജനത്തിനും ബഹുമാനമുള്ള ധർമ്മോപദേഷ്ടാവായ ഗമാലീയേൽ എന്നൊരു പരീശൻ ന്യായധിപസംഘത്തിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു, അവരെ കുറെ നേരം പുറത്താക്കുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

35 And he said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves as touching these men, what ye are about to do.പിന്നെ അവൻ അവരോടു: യിസ്രായേൽ പുരുഷന്മാരെ, ഈ മനുഷ്യരുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു ചെയ്യാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

36 For before these days rose up Theudas, giving himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed, and came to nought.ഈ നാളുകൾക്കു മുമ്പെ തദാസ് എന്നവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു താൻ മഹാൻ എന്നു നടിച്ചു; ഏകദേശം നാനൂറു പുരുഷന്മാർ അവനോടു ചേന്നുകൂടി; എങ്കിലും അവൻ നശിക്കയും അവനെ അനുസരിച്ചവർ എല്ലാവരും ചിന്നി ഒന്നുമില്ലാതാകയും ചെയ്തു.

37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the enrolment, and drew away `some of the' people after him: he also perished; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.അവന്റെ ശേഷം ഗലീലക്കാരനായ യൂദാ ചാർത്തലിന്റെ കാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ജനത്തെ തന്റെ പക്ഷം ചേരുവാൻ വശീകരിച്ചു; അവനും നശിച്ചു, അവനെ അനുസരിച്ചവർ ഒക്കെയും ചിതറിപ്പോയി.

38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will be overthrown:ആകയാൽ ഈ മനുഷ്യരെ വിട്ടു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു; ഈ ആലോചനയോ പ്രവൃത്തിയോ മാനുഷം എന്നു വരികിൽ അതു നശിച്ചുപോകും;

39 but if it is of God, ye will not be able to overthrow them; lest haply ye be found even to be fighting against God.ദൈവികം എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അതു നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തോടു പോരാടുന്നു എന്നു വരരുതല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles unto them, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.അവർ അവനെ അനുസരിച്ചു: അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെ വരുത്തി അടിപ്പിച്ചു, ഇനി യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സംസാരിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു അവരെ വിട്ടയച്ചു.

41 They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name.തിരുനാമത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി അപമാനം സഹിപ്പാൻ യോഗ്യരായി എണ്ണപ്പെടുകയാൽ അവർ സന്തോഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.

42 And every day, in the temple and at home, they ceased not to teach and to preach Jesus `as' the Christ.പിന്നെ അവർ ദിനംപ്രതി ദൈവാലയത്തിലും വീടുതോറും വിടാതെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും യേശുവിനെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു സുവിശേഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
