Acts 26
24 ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രതിവാദിക്കയിൽ ഫെസ്തൊസ്: പൌലൊസേ, നിനക്കു ഭ്രാന്തുണ്ടു; വിദ്യാ ബഹുത്വത്താൽ നിനക്കു ഭ്രാന്തു പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.
25 അതിന്നു പൌലൊസ്: രാജശ്രീ ഫെസ്തൊസേ, എനിക്കു ഭ്രാന്തില്ല; ഞാൻ സത്യവും സുബോധവുമായ വാക്കത്രേ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു.
26 രാജാവിന്നു ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിവുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഞാൻ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു ഇതു ഒന്നും മറവായിരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു എനിക്കു നിശ്ചയമുണ്ടു; അതു ഒരു കോണിൽ നടന്നതല്ല.
27 അഗ്രിപ്പാരാജാവേ, പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ? വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
28 അഗ്രിപ്പാ പൌലൊസിനോടു: ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായിത്തിരുവാൻ നീ എന്നെ അല്പംകൊണ്ടു സമ്മതിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. - അതിന്നു പൌലൊസ്;
29 നീ മാത്രമല്ല, ഇന്നു എന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേൾക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാവരും അല്പംകൊണ്ടാകട്ടെ അധികം കൊണ്ടാകട്ടെ ഈ ചങ്ങല ഒഴികെ എന്നെപ്പോലെ ആകേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
30 അപ്പോൾ രാജാവും ദേശാധിപതിയും ബെർന്നീക്കയും അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവരും എഴുന്നേറ്റു മാറി നിന്നു:
31 ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ മരണത്തിന്നോ ചങ്ങലെക്കോ യോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നു തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
24 And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.
25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
26 For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
30 And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them:
31 And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
