Acts 23 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And Paul having earnestly beheld the sanhedrim, said, `Men, brethren, I in all good conscience have lived to God unto this day;'പൌലൊസ് ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തെ ഉറ്റുനോക്കി: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ഇന്നേ ദിവസത്തോളവും കേവലം നല്ല മനസ്സാക്ഷിയോടുംകൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2 and the chief priest Ananias commanded those standing by him to smite him on the mouth,അപ്പോൾ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ അനന്യാസ് അരികെ നില്ക്കുന്നവരോടു അവന്റെ വായിക്കു അടിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

3 then Paul said unto him, `God is about to smite thee, thou whitewashed wall, and thou -- thou dost sit judging me according to the law, and, violating law, dost order me to be smitten!'പൌലൊസ് അവനോടു: ദൈവം നിന്നെ അടിക്കും വെള്ള തേച്ച ചുവരേ; നീ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം എന്നെ വിസ്തരിപ്പാൻ ഇരിക്കയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി എന്നെ അടിപ്പാൻ കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4 And those who stood by said, `The chief priest of God dost thou revile?'അരികെ നില്ക്കുന്നവർ: നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹാപുരോഹിതനെ ശകാരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

5 and Paul said, `I did not know, brethren, that he is chief priest: for it hath been written, Of the ruler of thy people thou shalt not speak evil;'അതിന്നു പെലൊസ്: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; “നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയെ ദുഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 and Paul having known that the one part are Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, cried out in the sanhedrim, `Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee -- son of a Pharisee -- concerning hope and rising again of dead men I am judged.'എന്നാൽ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിൽ ഒരു പക്ഷം സദൂക്യരും ഒരുപക്ഷം പരീശന്മാരും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പൌലൊസ് അറിഞ്ഞു: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ഒരു പരീശനും പരീശന്മാരുടെ മകനും ആകുന്നു; മരിച്ചവരുടെ പ്രത്യാശയെയും പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ വിസ്താരത്തിലായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

7 And he having spoken this, there came a dissension of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees, and the crowd was divided,അവൻ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ പരീശന്മാരും സദൂക്യരും തമ്മിൽ ഇടഞ്ഞു സംഘം ഛിദ്രിച്ചു.

8 for Sadducees, indeed, say there is no rising again, nor messenger, nor spirit, but Pharisees confess both.പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല ദൂതനും ആത്മാവും ഇല്ല എന്നു സദൂക്യർ പറയുന്നു; പരീശന്മാരോ രണ്ടും ഉണ്ടെന്നു പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നു.

9 And there came a great cry, and the scribes of the Pharisees' part having arisen, were striving, saying, `No evil do we find in this man; and if a spirit spake to him, or a messenger, we may not fight against God;'അങ്ങനെ വലിയോരു നിലവിളി ഉണ്ടായി; പരീശപക്ഷത്തിലെ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരിൽ ചിലർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു വാദിച്ചു: ഈ മനുഷ്യനിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരു കുറ്റവും കാണുന്നില്ല; ഒരാത്മാവോ ഒരു ദൂതനോ അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ചു എന്നു വന്നേക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10 and a great dissension having come, the chief captain having been afraid lest Paul may be pulled to pieces by them, commanded the soldiery, having gone down, to take him by force out of the midst of them, and to bring `him' to the castle.അങ്ങനെ വലിയ ഇടച്ചൽ ആയതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പൌലൊസിനെ ചീന്തിക്കളയും എന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപൻ പേടിച്ചു, പടയാളികൾ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു അവനെ അവരുടെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നു പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു കോട്ടയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

11 And on the following night, the Lord having stood by him, said, `Take courage, Paul, for as thou didst fully testify the things concerning me at Jerusalem, so it behoveth thee also at Rome to testify.'രാത്രിയിൽ കർത്താവു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു: ധൈര്യമായിരിക്ക; നീ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിൽ സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചതുപോലെ റോമയിലും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

12 And day having come, certain of the Jews having made a concourse, did anathematize themselves, saying neither to eat nor to drink till they may kill Paul;നേരം വെളുത്തപ്പോൾ ചില യെഹൂദന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ യോജിച്ചു പൌലൊസിനെ കൊന്നുകളയുവോളം ഒന്നും തിന്നുകയോ കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ശപഥം ചെയ്തു.

13 and they were more than forty who made this conspiracy by oath,ഈ ശപഥം ചെയ്തവർ നാല്പതിൽ അധികംപേർ ആയിരുന്നു.

14 who having come near to the chief priests and to the elders said, `With an anathema we did anathematize ourselves -- to taste nothing till we have killed Paul;അവർ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: ഞങ്ങൾ പൌലൊസിനെ കൊന്നുകളയുവോളം ഒന്നും ആസ്വദിക്കയില്ല എന്നൊരു കഠിനശപഥം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 now, therefore, ye, signify ye to the chief captain, with the sanhedrim, that to-morrow he may bring him down unto you, as being about to know more exactly the things concerning him; and we, before his coming nigh, are ready to put him to death.'ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ കാര്യം അധികം സൂക്ഷമത്തോടെ പരിശോധിക്കേണം എന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തിൽ അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ താഴെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ ന്യായാധിപസംഘവുമായി സഹസ്രാധിപനോടു അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ അവൻ സമീപിക്കും മുമ്പെ ഞങ്ങൾ അവനെ ഒടുക്കിക്കളവാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

16 And the son of Paul's sister having heard of the lying in wait, having gone and entered into the castle, told Paul,ഈ പതിയിരിപ്പിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പൌലൊസിന്റെ പെങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ കേട്ടിട്ടു ചെന്നു കോട്ടയിൽ കടന്നു പൌലൊസിനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

17 and Paul having called near one of the centurions, said, `This young man lead unto the chief captain, for he hath something to tell him.'പൌലൊസ് ശതാധിപന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ വിളിച്ചു: ഈ യൌവനക്കാരന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപനോടു ഒരു കാര്യം അറിയിപ്പാനുള്ളതിനാൽ അവനെ അങ്ങോട്ടു കൊണ്ടു പോകേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

18 He indeed, then, having taken him, brought him unto the chief captain, and saith, `The prisoner Paul, having called me near, asked `me' this young man to bring unto thee, having something to say to thee.'അവൻ അവനെ കൂട്ടി സഹസ്രാധിപന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു: തടവുകാരനായ പൌലൊസ് എന്നെ വിളിച്ചു, നിന്നോടു ഒരു കാര്യം പറവാനുള്ള ഈ യൌവനക്കാരനെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

19 And the chief captain having taken him by the hand, and having withdrawn by themselves, inquired, `What is that which thou hast to tell me?'സഹസ്രാധിപൻ അവനെ കൈക്കു പിടിച്ചു മാറിനിന്നു: എന്നോടു ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാനുള്ളതു എന്തു എന്നു സ്വകാര്യമായി ചോദിച്ചു.

20 and he said -- `The Jews agreed to request thee, that to-morrow to the sanhedrim thou mayest bring down Paul, as being about to enquire something more exactly concerning him;അതിന്നു അവൻ: യെഹൂദന്മാർ പൌലൊസിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അധികം സൂക്ഷമത്തോടെ വിസ്താരം കഴിക്കേണമെന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തിൽ വന്നു നാളെ അവനെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഒത്തു കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

21 thou, therefore, mayest thou not yield to them, for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, who did anathematize themselves -- not to eat nor to drink till they kill him, and now they are ready, waiting for the promise from thee.'നീ അവരെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു പോകരുതു; അവരിൽ നാല്പതിൽ അധികം പേർ അവനെ ഒടുക്കിക്കളയുവോളം ഒന്നും തിന്നുകയോ കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ശപഥംചെയ്തു അവന്നായി പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തം കിട്ടും എന്നു ആശിച്ചു അവർ ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരുങ്ങി നില്ക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22 The chief captain, then, indeed, let the young man go, having charged `him' to tell no one, `that these things thou didst shew unto me;'നീ ഇതു എന്നോടു അറിയിച്ചു എന്നു ആരോടും മിണ്ടരുതു എന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപൻ കല്പിച്ചു യൌവനക്കാരനെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

23 and having called near a certain two of the centurions, he said, `Make ready soldiers two hundred, that they may go on unto Caesarea, and horsemen seventy, and spearmen two hundred, from the third hour of the night;പിന്നെ അവൻ ശതാധിപന്മാരിൽ രണ്ടുപേരെ വരുത്തി: ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ മൂന്നാം മണിനേരത്തു കൈസര്യക്കു പോകുവാൻ ഇരുനൂറു കാലാളെയും എഴുപതു കുതിരച്ചേവകരെയും ഇരുനൂറു കുന്തക്കാരെയും ഒരുക്കുവിൻ.

24 beasts also provide, that, having set Paul on, they may bring him safe unto Felix the governor;'പൌലൊസിനെ കയറ്റി ദേശാധിപതിയായ ഫേലിക്സിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ക്ഷേമത്തോട എത്തിപ്പാൻ മൃഗവാഹനങ്ങളെയും സംഭരിപ്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

25 he having written a letter after this description:താഴെ പറയുന്ന വിധത്തിൽ ഒരു എഴുത്തും എഴുതി:

26 `Claudius Lysias, to the most noble governor Felix, hail:ക്ളൌദ്യൊസ് ലുസിയാസ് രാജശ്രീ ഫേലിക്സ് ദേശാധിപതിക്കു വന്ദനം.

27 This man having been taken by the Jews, and being about to be killed by them -- having come with the soldiery, I rescued him, having learned that he is a Roman;ഈ പുരുഷനെ യെഹൂദന്മാർ പിടിച്ചു കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചപ്പോൾ റോമപൌരൻ എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ പട്ടാളത്തോടും കൂടെ നേരിട്ടു ചെന്നു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

28 and, intending to know the cause for which they were accusing him, I brought him down to their sanhedrim,അവന്റെമേൽ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്ന സംഗതി ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു അവരുടെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിലേക്കു അവനെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു.

29 whom I found accused concerning questions of their law, and having no accusation worthy of death or bonds;എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള തർക്കങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്നതല്ലാതെ മരണത്തിന്നോ ചങ്ങലെക്കോ യോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും ഇല്ല എന്നു കണ്ടു.

30 and a plot having been intimated to me against this man -- about to be of the Jews -- at once I sent unto thee, having given command also to the accusers to say the things against him before thee; be strong.'അനന്തരം ഈ പുരുഷന്റെ നേരെ അവർ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു എന്നു തുമ്പുകിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ തൽക്ഷണം അവനെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നേരെയുള്ള അന്യായം സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വാദികളോടു കല്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; ശുഭമായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

31 Then, indeed, the soldiers according to that directed them, having taken up Paul, brought him through the night to Antipatris,പടയാളികൾ കല്പനപ്രകാരം പൌലൊസിനെ കൂട്ടി രാത്രിയിൽ അന്തിപത്രിസോളം കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു,

32 and on the morrow, having suffered the horsemen to go on with him, they returned to the castle;പിറ്റെന്നാൾ കുതിരച്ചേവകരെ അവനോടുകൂടെ അയച്ചു കോട്ടയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപോന്നു.

33 those having entered into Caesarea, and delivered the letter to the governor, did present also Paul to him.മറ്റവർ കൈസര്യയിൽ എത്തി ദേശാധിപതിക്കു എഴുത്തു കൊടുത്തു പൌലൊസിനെയും അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിർത്തി.

34 And the governor having read `it', and inquired of what province he is, and understood that `he is' from Cilicia;അവൻ എഴുത്തു വായിച്ചിട്ടു ഏതു സംസ്ഥാനക്കാരൻ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. കിലിക്യക്കാരൻ എന്നു കേട്ടാറെ:

35 `I will hear thee -- said he -- when thine accusers also may have come;' he also commanded him to be kept in the praetorium of Herod.വാദികളും കൂടെ വന്നു ചേരുമ്പോൾ നിന്നെ വിസ്തരിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ അവനെ കാത്തുകൊൾവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.
