Acts 23 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 And Paul, fixing his eyes on the council, said, Brethren, I have walked in all good conscience with God unto this day.പൌലൊസ് ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തെ ഉറ്റുനോക്കി: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ഇന്നേ ദിവസത്തോളവും കേവലം നല്ല മനസ്സാക്ഷിയോടുംകൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2 But the high priest Ananias ordered those standing by him to smite his mouth.അപ്പോൾ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ അനന്യാസ് അരികെ നില്ക്കുന്നവരോടു അവന്റെ വായിക്കു അടിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

3 Then Paul said to him, God will smite thee, whited wall. And *thou*, dost thou sit judging me according to the law, and breaking the law commandest me to be smitten?പൌലൊസ് അവനോടു: ദൈവം നിന്നെ അടിക്കും വെള്ള തേച്ച ചുവരേ; നീ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം എന്നെ വിസ്തരിപ്പാൻ ഇരിക്കയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി എന്നെ അടിപ്പാൻ കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4 And those that stood by said, Dost thou rail against the high priest of God?അരികെ നില്ക്കുന്നവർ: നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹാപുരോഹിതനെ ശകാരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

5 And Paul said, I was not conscious, brethren, that he was high priest; for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evilly of the ruler of thy people.അതിന്നു പെലൊസ്: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; “നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയെ ദുഷിക്കരുതു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 But Paul, knowing that the one part [of them] were of the Sadducees and the other of the Pharisees, cried out in the council, Brethren, *I* am a Pharisee, son of Pharisees: *I* am judged concerning the hope and resurrection of [the] dead.എന്നാൽ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിൽ ഒരു പക്ഷം സദൂക്യരും ഒരുപക്ഷം പരീശന്മാരും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പൌലൊസ് അറിഞ്ഞു: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ഒരു പരീശനും പരീശന്മാരുടെ മകനും ആകുന്നു; മരിച്ചവരുടെ പ്രത്യാശയെയും പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ വിസ്താരത്തിലായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

7 And when he had spoken this, there was a tumult of the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the multitude was divided.അവൻ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ പരീശന്മാരും സദൂക്യരും തമ്മിൽ ഇടഞ്ഞു സംഘം ഛിദ്രിച്ചു.

8 For Sadducees say there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit; but Pharisees confess both of them.പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല ദൂതനും ആത്മാവും ഇല്ല എന്നു സദൂക്യർ പറയുന്നു; പരീശന്മാരോ രണ്ടും ഉണ്ടെന്നു പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നു.

9 And there was a great clamour, and the scribes of the Pharisees' part rising up contended, saying, We find nothing evil in this man; and if a spirit has spoken to him, or an angel ...അങ്ങനെ വലിയോരു നിലവിളി ഉണ്ടായി; പരീശപക്ഷത്തിലെ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരിൽ ചിലർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു വാദിച്ചു: ഈ മനുഷ്യനിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരു കുറ്റവും കാണുന്നില്ല; ഒരാത്മാവോ ഒരു ദൂതനോ അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ചു എന്നു വന്നേക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10 And a great tumult having arisen, the chiliarch, fearing lest Paul should have been torn in pieces by them, commanded the troop to come down and take him by force from the midst of them, and to bring [him] into the fortress.അങ്ങനെ വലിയ ഇടച്ചൽ ആയതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പൌലൊസിനെ ചീന്തിക്കളയും എന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപൻ പേടിച്ചു, പടയാളികൾ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു അവനെ അവരുടെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നു പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു കോട്ടയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

11 But the following night the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good courage; for as thou hast testified the things concerning me at Jerusalem, so thou must bear witness at Rome also.രാത്രിയിൽ കർത്താവു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു: ധൈര്യമായിരിക്ക; നീ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിൽ സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചതുപോലെ റോമയിലും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

12 And when it was day, the Jews, having banded together, put themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they should kill Paul.നേരം വെളുത്തപ്പോൾ ചില യെഹൂദന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ യോജിച്ചു പൌലൊസിനെ കൊന്നുകളയുവോളം ഒന്നും തിന്നുകയോ കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ശപഥം ചെയ്തു.

13 And they were more than forty who had joined together in this oath;ഈ ശപഥം ചെയ്തവർ നാല്പതിൽ അധികംപേർ ആയിരുന്നു.

14 and they went to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have cursed ourselves with a curse to taste nothing until we kill Paul.അവർ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: ഞങ്ങൾ പൌലൊസിനെ കൊന്നുകളയുവോളം ഒന്നും ആസ്വദിക്കയില്ല എന്നൊരു കഠിനശപഥം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 Now therefore do ye with the council make a representation to the chiliarch so that he may bring him down to you, as about to determine more precisely what concerns him, and we, before he draws near, are ready to kill him.ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ കാര്യം അധികം സൂക്ഷമത്തോടെ പരിശോധിക്കേണം എന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തിൽ അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ താഴെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ ന്യായാധിപസംഘവുമായി സഹസ്രാധിപനോടു അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ അവൻ സമീപിക്കും മുമ്പെ ഞങ്ങൾ അവനെ ഒടുക്കിക്കളവാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

16 But Paul's sister's son, having heard of the lying in wait, came and entered into the fortress and reported [it] to Paul.ഈ പതിയിരിപ്പിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പൌലൊസിന്റെ പെങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ കേട്ടിട്ടു ചെന്നു കോട്ടയിൽ കടന്നു പൌലൊസിനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

17 And Paul, having called one of the centurions, said, Take this youth to the chiliarch, for he has something to report to him.പൌലൊസ് ശതാധിപന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ വിളിച്ചു: ഈ യൌവനക്കാരന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപനോടു ഒരു കാര്യം അറിയിപ്പാനുള്ളതിനാൽ അവനെ അങ്ങോട്ടു കൊണ്ടു പോകേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

18 He therefore, having taken him with [him], led him to the chiliarch, and says, The prisoner Paul called me to [him] and asked me to lead this youth to thee, who has something to say to thee.അവൻ അവനെ കൂട്ടി സഹസ്രാധിപന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു: തടവുകാരനായ പൌലൊസ് എന്നെ വിളിച്ചു, നിന്നോടു ഒരു കാര്യം പറവാനുള്ള ഈ യൌവനക്കാരനെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

19 And the chiliarch having taken him by the hand, and having gone apart in private, inquired, What is it that thou hast to report to me?സഹസ്രാധിപൻ അവനെ കൈക്കു പിടിച്ചു മാറിനിന്നു: എന്നോടു ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാനുള്ളതു എന്തു എന്നു സ്വകാര്യമായി ചോദിച്ചു.

20 And he said, The Jews have agreed together to make a request to thee, that thou mayest bring Paul down to-morrow into the council, as about to inquire something more precise concerning him.അതിന്നു അവൻ: യെഹൂദന്മാർ പൌലൊസിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അധികം സൂക്ഷമത്തോടെ വിസ്താരം കഴിക്കേണമെന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തിൽ വന്നു നാളെ അവനെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഒത്തു കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

21 Do not thou then be persuaded by them, for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, who have put themselves under a curse neither to eat nor drink till they kill him; and now they are ready waiting the promise from thee.നീ അവരെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു പോകരുതു; അവരിൽ നാല്പതിൽ അധികം പേർ അവനെ ഒടുക്കിക്കളയുവോളം ഒന്നും തിന്നുകയോ കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ശപഥംചെയ്തു അവന്നായി പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തം കിട്ടും എന്നു ആശിച്ചു അവർ ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരുങ്ങി നില്ക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22 The chiliarch then dismissed the youth, commanding [him], Utter to no one that thou hast represented these things to me.നീ ഇതു എന്നോടു അറിയിച്ചു എന്നു ആരോടും മിണ്ടരുതു എന്നു സഹസ്രാധിപൻ കല്പിച്ചു യൌവനക്കാരനെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

23 And having called to [him] certain two of the centurions, he said, Prepare two hundred soldiers that they may go as far as Caesarea, and seventy horsemen, and two hundred light-armed footmen, for the third hour of the night.പിന്നെ അവൻ ശതാധിപന്മാരിൽ രണ്ടുപേരെ വരുത്തി: ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ മൂന്നാം മണിനേരത്തു കൈസര്യക്കു പോകുവാൻ ഇരുനൂറു കാലാളെയും എഴുപതു കുതിരച്ചേവകരെയും ഇരുനൂറു കുന്തക്കാരെയും ഒരുക്കുവിൻ.

24 And [he ordered them] to provide beasts, that they might set Paul on them and carry [him] safe through to Felix the governor,പൌലൊസിനെ കയറ്റി ദേശാധിപതിയായ ഫേലിക്സിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ക്ഷേമത്തോട എത്തിപ്പാൻ മൃഗവാഹനങ്ങളെയും സംഭരിപ്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

25 having written a letter, couched in this form:താഴെ പറയുന്ന വിധത്തിൽ ഒരു എഴുത്തും എഴുതി:

26 Claudius Lysias to the most excellent governor Felix, greeting.ക്ളൌദ്യൊസ് ലുസിയാസ് രാജശ്രീ ഫേലിക്സ് ദേശാധിപതിക്കു വന്ദനം.

27 This man, having been taken by the Jews, and being about to be killed by them, I came up with the military and took out [of their hands], having learned that he was a Roman.ഈ പുരുഷനെ യെഹൂദന്മാർ പിടിച്ചു കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചപ്പോൾ റോമപൌരൻ എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ പട്ടാളത്തോടും കൂടെ നേരിട്ടു ചെന്നു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

28 And desiring to know the charge on which they accused him, I brought him down to their council;അവന്റെമേൽ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്ന സംഗതി ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിട്ടു അവരുടെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിലേക്കു അവനെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു.

29 whom I found to be accused of questions of their law, but to have no charge laid against him [making him] worthy of death or of bonds.എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള തർക്കങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്നതല്ലാതെ മരണത്തിന്നോ ചങ്ങലെക്കോ യോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും ഇല്ല എന്നു കണ്ടു.

30 But having received information of a plot about to be put in execution against the man [by the Jews], I have immediately sent him to thee, commanding also his accusers to say before thee the things that are against him. [Farewell.]അനന്തരം ഈ പുരുഷന്റെ നേരെ അവർ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു എന്നു തുമ്പുകിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ തൽക്ഷണം അവനെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നേരെയുള്ള അന്യായം സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വാദികളോടു കല്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; ശുഭമായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

31 The soldiers therefore, according to what was ordered them, took Paul and brought him by night to Antipatris,പടയാളികൾ കല്പനപ്രകാരം പൌലൊസിനെ കൂട്ടി രാത്രിയിൽ അന്തിപത്രിസോളം കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു,

32 and on the morrow, having left the horsemen to go with him, returned to the fortress.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ കുതിരച്ചേവകരെ അവനോടുകൂടെ അയച്ചു കോട്ടയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപോന്നു.

33 And these, having entered into Caesarea, and given up the letter to the governor, presented Paul also to him.മറ്റവർ കൈസര്യയിൽ എത്തി ദേശാധിപതിക്കു എഴുത്തു കൊടുത്തു പൌലൊസിനെയും അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിർത്തി.

34 And having read [it], and asked of what eparchy he was, and learned that [he was] of Cilicia,അവൻ എഴുത്തു വായിച്ചിട്ടു ഏതു സംസ്ഥാനക്കാരൻ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. കിലിക്യക്കാരൻ എന്നു കേട്ടാറെ:

35 he said, I will hear thee fully when thine accusers also are arrived. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's praetorium.വാദികളും കൂടെ വന്നു ചേരുമ്പോൾ നിന്നെ വിസ്തരിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ അവനെ കാത്തുകൊൾവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.
