അനന്തരം അബ്നേർ ഹെബ്രോനിൽ ദാവീദിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു: ദേശം ആർക്കുള്ളതു? എന്നോടു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനെയും നിന്റെ പക്ഷത്തിൽ വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ സഹായം നിനക്കു ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.
