2 Samuel 21 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And there is a famine in the days of David three years, year after year, and David seeketh the face of Jehovah, and Jehovah saith, `For Saul and for the bloody house, because that he put to death the Gibeonites.'ദാവീദിന്റെ കാലത്തു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം തുടരെത്തുടരെ ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായി; ദാവീദ് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ ശൌൽ ഗിബെയോന്യരെ കൊല്ലുകകൊണ്ടു അതു അവൻ നിമിത്തവും രാക്തപാതകമുള്ള അവന്റെ ഗൃഹം നിമിത്തവും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

2 And the king calleth for the Gibeonites, and saith unto them -- as to the Gibeonites, they `are' not of the sons of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorite, and the sons of Israel had sworn to them, and Saul seeketh to smite them in his zeal for the sons of Israel and Judah --രാജാവു ഗിബെയോന്യരെ വിളിച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു:--ഗിബെയോന്യർ യിസ്രായേല്യരല്ല അമോർയ്യരിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവരത്രേ; അവരോടു യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ സത്യം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ശൌൽ യിസ്രായേല്യർക്കും യെഹൂദ്യർക്കും വേണ്ടി തനിക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്ന എരിവിൽ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു--

3 yea, David saith unto the Gibeonites, `What do I do for you? and with what do I make atonement? and bless ye the inheritance of Jehovah.'ദാവീദ് ഗിബെയോന്യരോടു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്തുതരേണം; നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ അവകാശത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ എന്തു പ്രതിശാന്തി ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

4 And the Gibeonites say to him, `We have no silver and gold by Saul and by his house, and we have no man to put to death in Israel;' and he saith, `What ye are saying I do to you.'ഗിബെയോന്യർ അവനോടു: ശൌലിനോടും അവന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തോടും ഞങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള കാര്യം പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയുംകൊണ്ടു തീരുന്നതല്ല; യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കൊല്ലുന്നതും ഞങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു ഞാൻ ചെയ്തുതരാം എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

5 And they say unto the king, `The man who consumed us, and who devised against us -- we have been destroyed from stationing ourselves in all the border of Israel --അവർ രാജാവിനോടു: ഞങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും യിസ്രായേൽ ദേശത്തെങ്ങും ഞങ്ങൾ ശേഷിക്കാതെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഉപായം ചിന്തിക്കയും ചെയ്തവന്റെ മക്കളിൽ ഏഴുപേരെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുതരേണം.

6 let there be given to us seven men of his sons, and we have hanged them before Jehovah, in the height of Saul, the chosen of Jehovah.' And the king saith, `I do give;'ഞങ്ങൾ അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ വൃതനായ ശൌലിന്റെ ഗിബെയയിൽ യഹോവെക്കു തൂക്കിക്കളയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ അവരെ തരാമെന്നു രാജാവു പറഞ്ഞു.

7 and the king hath pity on Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, son of Saul, because of the oath of Jehovah that `is' between them, between David and Jonathan son of Saul;എന്നാൽ ദാവീദും ശൌലിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാഥാനും തമ്മിൽ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ചെയ്ത സത്യംനിമിത്തം രാജാവു ശൌലിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ മെഫീബോശെത്തിനെ ഒഴിച്ചു.

8 and the king taketh the two sons of Rizpah daughter of Aiah, whom she bore to Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth, and the five sons of Michal daughter of Saul whom she bare to Adriel son of Barzillai the Meholathite,അയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൾ രിസ്പാ ശൌലിന്നു പ്രസവിച്ച രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാരായ അർമ്മോനിയെയും മെഫീബോശെത്തിനെയും ശൌലിന്റെ മകളായ മീഖൾ മെഹോലാത്യൻ ബർസില്ലായിയുടെ മകനായ അദ്രീയേലിന്നു പ്രസവിച്ച അഞ്ചു പുത്രന്മാരെയും രാജാവു പിടിച്ചു ഗിബെയോന്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

9 and giveth them into the hand of the Gibeonites, and they hang them in the hill before Jehovah; and the seven fall together, and they have been put to death in the days of harvest, in the first `days', the commencement of barley-harvest.അവർ അവരെ മലയിൽ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തൂക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഏഴുപേരും ഒരുമിച്ചു മരിച്ചു; കൊയ്ത്തുകാലത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യദിവസങ്ങളായ യവക്കൊയ്ത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭത്തിലായിരുന്നു അവരെ കൊന്നതു.

10 And Rizpah daughter of Aiah taketh the sackcloth, and stretcheth it out for herself on the rock, from the commencement of harvest till water hath been poured out upon them from the heavens, and hath not suffered a fowl of the heavens to rest upon them by day, or the beast of the field by night.അയ്യാവിന്റെ മകളായ രിസ്പാ ചാകൂശീല എടുത്തു പാറമേൽ വിരിച്ചു കൊയ്ത്തുകാലത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭം മുതൽ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു അവരുടെ മേൽ മഴപെയ്തതുവരെ പകൽ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോ രാത്രി കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളോ അവരെ തൊടുവാൻ സമ്മതിക്കാതിരുന്നു.

11 And it is declared to David that which Rizpah daughter of Aiah, concubine of Saul, hath done,ശൌലിന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടിയായി അയ്യാവിന്റെ മകളായ രിസ്പാ ചെയ്തതു ദാവീദ് കേട്ടിട്ടു

12 and David goeth and taketh the bones of Saul, and the bones of Jonathan his son, from the possessors of Jabesh-Gilead, who had stolen them from the broad place of Beth-Shan, where the Philistines hanged them, in the day of the Philistines smiting Saul in Gilboa;ദാവീദ് ചെന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ ഗിൽബോവയിൽവെച്ചു ശൌലിനെ കൊന്ന നാളിൽ ബേത്ത്-ശാൻ നഗരവീഥിയിൽ ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ തൂക്കിക്കളകയും ഗിലെയാദിലെ യാബേശ് പൌരന്മാർ അവിടെനിന്നു മോഷ്ടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ശൌലിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകൻ യോനാഥാന്റെയും അസ്ഥികളെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു.

13 and he bringeth up thence the bones of Saul, and the bones of Jonathan his son, and they gather the bones of those hanged,അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ശൌലിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകൻ യോനാഥാന്റെയും അസ്ഥികളെ അവിടെനിന്നു വരുത്തി; തൂക്കിക്കൊന്നവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളെയും അവർ പെറുക്കിയെടുത്തു.

14 and bury the bones of Saul and of Jonathan his son in the land of Benjamin, in Zelah, in the burying-place of Kish his father, and do all that the king commanded, and God is entreated for the land afterwards.ശൌലിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകൻ യോനാഥാന്റെയും അസ്ഥികളെ അവർ ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തു സേലയിൽ അവന്റെ അപ്പനായ കീശിന്റെ കല്ലറയിൽ അടക്കംചെയ്തു; രാജാവു കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും അവർ ചെയ്തു. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ദൈവം ദേശത്തിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയെ കേട്ടരുളി.

15 And again have the Philistines war with Israel, and David goeth down, and his servants with him, and they fight with the Philistines; and David is weary,ഫെലിസ്ത്യർക്കു യിസ്രായേലിനോടു വീണ്ടും യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായി; ദാവീദ് തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുമായി ചെന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു പടയേറ്റു; ദാവീദ്, തളർന്നുപോയി.

16 and Ishbi-Benob, who `is' among the children of the giant -- the weight of his spear `is' three hundred `shekels' weight of brass, and he is girded with a new one -- speaketh of smiting David,അപ്പോൾ മുന്നൂറു ശേക്കെൽ തൂക്കമുള്ള താമ്രശൂലം ധരിച്ചവനും പുതിയ വാൾ അരെക്കു കെട്ടിയവനുമായി രാഫാമക്കളിൽ യിശ്ബിബെനോബ് എന്നൊരുവൻ ദാവീദിനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു.

17 and Abishai son of Zeruiah giveth help to him, and smiteth the Philistine, and putteth him to death; then swear the men of David to him, saying, `Thou dost not go out again with us to battle, nor quench the lamp of Israel.'എന്നാൽ സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ അബീശായി അവന്നു തുണയായ്‍വന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു; അപ്പോൾ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ അവനോടു: നീ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദീപം കെടുക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മേലാൽ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പറപ്പെടരുതു എന്നു സത്യംചെയ്തു പറഞ്ഞു.

18 And it cometh to pass afterwards, that the battle is again in Gob with the Philistines, then hath Sibbechai the Hushathite smitten Saph, who `is' among the children of the giant.അതിന്റെശേഷം ഗോബിൽവെച്ചു വീണ്ടും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു യുദ്ധംഉണ്ടായി; അപ്പോൾ ഹൂശാത്യനായ സിബ്ബെഖായി മല്ലന്മാരുടെ മക്കളിൽ ഒരുത്തനായ സഫിനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു.

19 And the battle is again in Gob with the Philistines, and Elhanan son of Jaare-Oregim, the Beth-Lehemite, smiteth `a brother of' Goliath the Gittite, and the wood of his spear `is' like a beam of weavers.ഗോബിൽവെച്ചു പിന്നെയും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായി; അവിടെവെച്ചു ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമ്യനായ യാരെ-ഓരെഗീമിന്റെ മകൻ എൽഹാനാൻ ഗിത്യനായ ഗൊല്യാത്തിനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു; അവന്റെ കുന്തത്തണ്ടു നെയ്ത്തുകാരുടെ പടപ്പുതടിപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

20 And the battle is again in Gath, and there is a man of stature, and the fingers of his hands `are' six, and the toes of his feet `are' six, twenty and four in number, and he also hath been born to the giant,പിന്നെയും ഗത്തിൽ വെച്ചു യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായി; അവിടെ ഒരു ദീർഘകായൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഓരോ കൈക്കു ആറാറുവിരലും ഓരോ കാലിന്നു ആറാറുവിരലും ആകെ ഇരുപത്തുനാലു വിരൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഇവനും രാഫെക്കു ജനിച്ചവനായിരുന്നു.

21 and he reproacheth Israel, and smite him doth Jonathan son of Shimeah, brother of David;അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ ധിക്കരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ദാവീദിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ശിമെയയുടെ മകൻ യോനാഥാൻ അവനെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

22 these four have been born to the giant in Gath, and they fall by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.ഈ നാലു പേരും ഗത്തിൽ രാഫെക്കു ജനിച്ചവരായിരുന്നു. അവർ ദാവീദിന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും കയ്യാൽ പട്ടുപോയി.
