2 Samuel 20:22
അങ്ങനെ സ്ത്രീ ചെന്നു തന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്താൽ സകലജനത്തെയും സമ്മതിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ ബിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ ശേബയുടെ തല വെട്ടി യോവാബിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇട്ടുകൊടുത്തു; അപ്പോൾ അവൻ കാഹളം ഊതി, എല്ലാവരും പട്ടണം വിട്ടു വീടുകളിലേക്കു പോയി. യോവാബ് യെരൂശലേമിൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

| and cast | וַיַּשְׁלִ֣כוּ | wayyašlikû | va-yahsh-LEE-hoo |

| And he blew | וַיִּתְקַע֙ | wayyitqaʿ | va-yeet-KA |
| a trumpet, | בַּשֹּׁפָ֔ר | baššōpār | ba-shoh-FAHR |
| retired they and | וַיָּפֻ֥צוּ | wayyāpuṣû | va-ya-FOO-tsoo |
| from | מֵֽעַל | mēʿal | MAY-al |
| the city, | הָעִ֖יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| man every | אִ֣ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| to his tent. | לְאֹֽהָלָ֑יו | lĕʾōhālāyw | leh-oh-ha-LAV |
| And Joab | וְיוֹאָ֛ב | wĕyôʾāb | veh-yoh-AV |
| returned | שָׁ֥ב | šāb | shahv |
| to Jerusalem | יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם | yĕrûšālaim | yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
