2 Kings 10 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 Now there were in Samaria seventy of Ahab's sons. And Jehu sent letters to Samaria, to the rulers of the town, and to the responsible men, and to those who had the care of the sons of Ahab, saying,ആഹാബിന്നു ശമർയ്യയിൽ എഴുപതു പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. യേഹൂ യിസ്രായേൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും മൂപ്പന്മാർക്കും ആഹാബിന്റെ പുത്രപാലകന്മാർക്കും ശമർയ്യയിലേക്കു എഴുത്തുകളെ എഴുതി അയച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

2 Straight away, when you get this letter, seeing that your master's sons are with you, and that you have carriages and horses and a walled town and arms;നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും രഥങ്ങളും കുതിരകളും ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണവും ആയുധങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈവശം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

3 Take the best and most upright of your master's sons, and make him king in his father's place, and put up a fight for your master's family.ആകയാൽ ഈ എഴുത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തിയ ഉടനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഉത്തമനും യോഗ്യനുമായവനെ നോക്കിയെടുത്തു അവന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തി നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

4 But they were full of fear, and said, The two kings have gone down before him: how may we keep our place?അവരോ ഏറ്റവും ഭയപ്പെട്ടു: രണ്ടു രാജാക്കന്മാർക്കും അവനോടു എതിർത്തുനില്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലല്ലോ; പിന്നെ നാം എങ്ങനെ നില്ക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5 So the controller of the king's house, with the ruler of the town, and the responsible men, and those who had the care of Ahab's sons, sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants and will do all your orders; we will not make any man king; do whatever seems best to you.ആകയാൽ രാജധാനിവിചാരകനും നഗരാധിപതിയും മൂപ്പന്മാരും പുത്രപാലകന്മാരും യേഹൂവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു: ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ; ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യാം; ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുത്തനെയും രാജാവാക്കുന്നില്ല; നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ചെയ്തുകൊൾക എന്നു പറയിച്ചു. അവൻ രണ്ടാമതും എഴുത്തു എഴുതിയതു: നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ പക്ഷം ചേന്നു എന്റെ കല്പന കേൾക്കുമെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ തല നാളെ ഈ നേരത്തു യിസ്രെയേലിൽ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ.

6 Then he sent them a second letter, saying, If you are on my side, and if you will do my orders, come to me at Jezreel by this time tomorrow, with the heads of your master's sons. Now the king's seventy sons were with the great men of the town, who had the care of them.എന്നാൽ രാജകുമാരന്മാർ എഴുപതു പേരും തങ്ങളെ വളർത്തുന്ന നഗരപ്രധാനികളോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു.

7 And when the letter came to them, they took the king's sons and put them to death, all the seventy, and put their heads in baskets and sent them to him at Jezreel.ഈ എഴുത്തു അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ രാജകുമാരന്മാരെ എഴുപതുപേരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊന്നു അവരുടെ തലകൊട്ടയിൽ ആക്കി യിസ്രെയേലിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊടുത്തയച്ചു.

8 And a man came and said to him, They have come with the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Put them down in two masses at the doorway of the town till the morning.ഒരു ദൂതൻ വന്നു അവനോടു: അവർ രാജകുമാരന്മാരുടെ തലകൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിയിച്ചു. അവയെ പടിപ്പുരവാതിൽക്കൽ രണ്ടു കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടി രാവിലെവരെ വെച്ചേക്കുവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

9 And in the morning he went out and, stopping, said to all the people there, You are upright men: it is true that I made designs against my master, and put him to death; but who is responsible for the death of all these?പിറ്റെന്നാൾ രാവിലെ അവൻ പുറത്തു ചെന്നുനിന്നു സർവ്വജനത്തോടും പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ നീതിമാന്മാർ; ഞാനോ എന്റെ യജമാനന്നു വിരോധമായി കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി അവനെ കൊന്നു കളഞ്ഞു; എന്നാൽ ഇവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൊന്നതു ആർ?

10 You may be certain that nothing which the Lord has said about the family of Ahab will be without effect; for the Lord has done what he said by his servant Elijah.ആകയാൽ യഹോവ ആഹാബ് ഗൃഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നും നിഷ്ഫലമാകയില്ല എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ; യഹോവ തന്റെ ദാസനായ ഏലീയാവുമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

11 So Jehu put to death all the rest of the seed of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his relations and his near friends and his priests, till there were no more of them.അങ്ങനെ യേഹൂ യിസ്രെയേലിൽ ആഹാബ് ഗൃഹത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ സകല മഹത്തുക്കളെയും ബന്ധുക്കളെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ആരും ശേഷിക്കാതവണ്ണം സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

12 Then he got up and came to Samaria. And he was at the meeting-place of the keepers of sheep, by the way,പിന്നെ അവൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ശമർയ്യയിൽ ചെന്നു വഴിയിൽ ഇടയന്മാർ രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിന്നരികെ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ യോഹൂ

13 When he came across the brothers of Ahaziah, king of Judah, and said, Who are you? And they said, We are the brothers of Ahaziah, king of Judah; we are going down to see the children of the king and of the queen.യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ കണ്ടിട്ടു: നിങ്ങൾ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ഞങ്ങൾ അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ; രാജാവിന്റെ മക്കളെയും രാജ്ഞിയുടെ മക്കളെയും അഭിവന്ദനം ചെയ്‍വാൻ പോകയാകുന്നു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

14 And he said, Take them living. So they took them living, and put them to death in the water-hole of Beth-eked; of the forty-two men he put every one to death;അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: അവരെ ജീവനോടെ പിടിപ്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അവർ അവരെ ജീവനോടെ പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ നാല്പത്തിരണ്ടുപേരെയും രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിന്റെ കളത്തിങ്കൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നു; അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെയും ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചില്ല.

15 And when he had gone away from there, he came across Jehonadab, the son of Rechab: and he said good-day to him, and said to him, Is your heart true to mine, as mine is to yours? And Jehonadab in answer said, It is; and Jehu said, If it is, give me your hand. And he gave him his hand, and he made him come up into his carriage.അവൻ അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ തന്നെ എതിരേല്പാൻ വരുന്ന രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാദാബിനെ കണ്ടു വന്ദനം ചെയ്തു അവനോടു: എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം പരമാർത്ഥമായിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു യോനാദാബ് അതെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ എങ്കിൽ കൈ തരിക. അവൻ കൈ കൊടുത്തു; അവൻ അവനെ തന്റെ രഥത്തിൽ കയറ്റി.

16 And he said, Come with me and see how I am on fire for the Lord's cause. So he made him go with him in his carriage.നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ വന്നു യഹോവയെക്കുറിച്ചു എനിക്കുള്ള ശുഷ്കാന്തി കാൺക എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവനെ രഥത്തിൽ കയറ്റി അവർ ഓടിച്ചു പോയി.

17 And when he came to Samaria, he put to death all those of Ahab's family who were still in Samaria, till there were no more of them, as the Lord had said to Elijah.ശമർയ്യയിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ ശമർയ്യയിൽ ആഹാബിന്നു ശേഷിച്ചവരെ ഒക്കെയും യഹോവ ഏലീയാവോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനപ്രകാരം ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

18 Then Jehu got all the people together and said to them, Ahab was Baal's servant in a small way, but Jehu will be his servant on a great scale.പിന്നെ യേഹൂ സകലജനത്തെയും കൂട്ടി അവരോടു: ആഹാബ് ബാലിനെ അല്പമേ സേവിച്ചുള്ളു; യേഹൂവോ അവനെ അധികം സേവിക്കും.

19 Now send for all the prophets of Baal and all his servants and all his priests, to come to me; let no one keep away: for I have a great offering to make to Baal; anyone who is not present, will be put to death. This Jehu did with deceit, his purpose being the destruction of the servants of Baal.ആകയാൽ ബാലിന്റെ സകലപ്രവാചകന്മാരെയും സകലപൂജകന്മാരെയും സകലപുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുത്തുവിൻ; ഒരുത്തനും വരാതിരിക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ ബാലിന്നു ഒരു മഹായാഗം കഴിപ്പാൻ പോകുന്നു; വരാത്തവർ ആരും ജീവനോടിരിക്കയില്ല എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ ബാലിന്റെ പൂജകന്മാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം യേഹൂ ഈ ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിച്ചു.

20 And Jehu said, Let there be a special holy meeting for the worship of Baal. So a public statement was made.ബാലിന്നു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ എന്നു യേഹൂ കല്പിച്ചു. അവർ അങ്ങനെ ഘേഷിച്ചു.

21 And Jehu sent out through all Israel; and all the servants of Baal came, not one kept away. And they came into the house of Baal, so that it was full from end to end.യേഹൂ യിസ്രായേൽ ദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും ആളയച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ബാലിന്റെ സകല പൂജകന്മാരും വന്നു; ഒരുത്തനും വരാതിരുന്നില്ല; അവർ ബാലിന്റെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കൂടി; ബാൽക്ഷേത്രം ഒരു അറ്റംമുതൽ മറ്റേ അറ്റംവരെ തിങ്ങിനിറഞ്ഞു.

22 And Jehu said to him who kept the robes, Get out robes for all the servants of Baal. So he got out robes for them.അവൻ വസ്ത്ര വിചാരകനോടു: ബാലിന്റെ സകലപൂജകന്മാർക്കും വസ്ത്രം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കൊടുക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ വസ്ത്രം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കൊടുത്തു.

23 And Jehu, with Jehonadab, the son of Rechab, went into the house of Baal; and he said to the servants of Baal, Make a search with care, to see that no servant of the Lord is with you, but only servants of Baal.പിന്നെ യേഹൂവും രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാദാബും ബാലിന്റെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കടന്നു ബാലിന്റെ പൂജകന്മാരോടു: ബാലിന്റെ പൂജകന്മാർ മാത്രമല്ലാതെ യഹോവയുടെ പൂജകന്മാർ ആരും ഇവിടെ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തിരഞ്ഞു നോക്കുവിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

24 Then they went in to make offerings and burned offerings. Now Jehu had put eighty men outside, and said to them, If any man whom I give into your hands gets away, the life of him who lets him go will be the price of his life.അവർ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിപ്പാൻ അകത്തു ചെന്നശേഷം യേഹൂ പുറത്തു എണ്പതു പേരെ നിർത്തി: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കുന്ന ആളുകളിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ചാടിപ്പോയാൽ അവന്റെ ജീവന്നു പകരം അവനെ വിട്ടയച്ചവന്റെ ജീവൻ ആയിരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

25 Then when the burned offering was ended, straight away Jehu said to the armed men and the captains, Go in and put them to death; let not one come out. So they put them to the sword; and, pulling the images to the earth, they went into the holy place of the house of Baal.ഹോമയാഗം കഴിച്ചുതീർന്നപ്പോൾ യേഹൂ അകമ്പടികളോടും പടനായകന്മാരോടും: അകത്തു കടന്നു അവരെ കൊല്ലുവിൻ; ഒരുത്തനും പുറത്തു പോകരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയാൽ അവരെ കൊന്നു; അകമ്പടികളും പടനായകന്മാരും അവരെ പുറത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു; ബാൽക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ ചെന്നു

26 And they took out the image of Asherah from the house of Baal, and had it burned.ബാൽക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ സ്തംഭവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

27 The altar of Baal was pulled down and the house of Baal was broken up and made an unclean place, as it is to this day.അവർ ബാൽസ്തംഭത്തെ തകർത്തു ബാൽക്ഷേത്രത്തെ ഇടിച്ചു അതിനെ മറപ്പുരയാക്കിത്തീർത്തു; അതു ഇന്നുവരെ അങ്ങനെതന്നേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

28 So Jehu put an end to the worship of Baal in Israel.ഇങ്ങനെ യേഹൂ ബാലിനെ യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

29 But Jehu did not keep himself from all the sins of Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, and the evil he made Israel do; the gold oxen were still in Beth-el and in Dan.എങ്കിലും ബേഥേലിലും ദാനിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പൊൻകാളക്കുട്ടികളെക്കൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിനെ പാപം ചെയ്യുമാറാക്കിയ നെബാത്തിന്റെ മകനായ യൊരോബെയാമിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ യേഹൂ വിട്ടുമാറിയില്ല.

30 And the Lord said to Jehu, Because you have done well in doing what is right in my eyes and effecting all my purpose for the family of Ahab, your sons will be kings of Israel to the fourth generation.യഹോവ യേഹൂവിനോടു: എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതു നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും എന്റെ ഹിതപ്രകാരം ഒക്കെയും ആഹാബ്ഗൃഹത്തോടു ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രാജാസനത്തിൽ നാലാം തലമുറവരെ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

31 But Jehu did not take care to keep the law of the Lord with all his heart: he did not keep himself from the sin which Jeroboam did and made Israel do.എങ്കിലും യേഹൂ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടെ നടക്കുന്നതിന്നു ജാഗ്രത കാണിച്ചില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിനെക്കൊണ്ടു പാപം ചെയ്യിച്ച യൊരോബെയാമിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ അവൻ വിട്ടുമാറിയതുമില്ല.

32 In those days the Lord was angry first with Israel; and Hazael made attacks on all the land of Israel,ആ കാലത്തു യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിനെ കുറെച്ചുകളവാൻ തുടങ്ങി; ഹസായേൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അതിരുകളിലൊക്കെയും അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.

33 East of Jordan, in all the land of Gilead, the Gadites and the Reubenites and the Manassites, from Aroer by the valley of the Arnon, all Gilead and Bashan.അവൻ യോർദ്ദാന്നു കിഴക്കു ഗാദ്യർ, രൂബേന്യർ, മനശ്ശേയർ എന്നിവരുടെ ദേശമായ ഗിലെയാദ് മുഴുവനും ജയിച്ചടക്കി അർന്നോൻ തോട്ടിന്നരികെയുള്ള അരോവേർ മുതൽ ഗിലെയാദും ബാശാനും തന്നേ.

34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all he did, and his great power, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel?യേഹൂവിന്റെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും അവൻ ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും അവന്റെ സകലപരാക്രമപ്രവൃത്തികളും യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

35 And Jehu went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son became king in his place.യേഹൂ തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; അവനെ ശമർയ്യയിൽ അടക്കം ചെയ്തു. അവന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോവാഹാസ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

36 And the time of Jehu's rule over Israel in Samaria was twenty-eight years.യേഹൂ ശമർയ്യയിൽ യിസ്രായേലിനെ വാണ കാലം ഇരുപത്തെട്ടു സംവത്സരം ആയിരുന്നു.
