16 അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ അധൈര്യപ്പെടാതെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുറമെയുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകമേയുള്ളവൻ നാൾക്കുനാൾ പുതുക്കം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
17 നൊടിനേരത്തേക്കുള്ള ഞങ്ങളുടെ ലഘുവായ കഷ്ടം അത്യന്തം അനവധിയായി തേജസ്സിന്റെ നിത്യഘനം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടുവാൻ ഹേതുവാകുന്നു.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
