താൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ വിഗ്രഹപ്രതിമയെ അവൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു; ഈ ആലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചോ: ഈ ആലയത്തിലും ഞാൻ എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും നിന്നു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേമിലും ഞാൻ എന്റെ നാമം എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥാപിക്കും എന്നും

	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
a carved image,	פֶּ֥סֶל	pesel	peh-SEL
the idol	הַסֶּ֖מֶל	semel	seh-MEL
which	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
he had made,	עָשָׂ֑ה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
in the house	בְּבֵ֣ית	bayit	ba-YEET
of God,	הָֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים	ʾĕlōhîm	ay-loh-HEEM
of which	אֲשֶׁ֨ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
had said	אָמַ֤ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
God	אֱלֹהִים֙	ʾĕlōhîm	ay-loh-HEEM
to	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
David	דָּוִיד֙	dāwid	da-VEED
and to	וְאֶל	ʾēl	ale
Solomon	שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה	šĕlōmō	sheh-loh-MOH
his son,	בְנ֔וֹ	bēn	bane
house,	בַּבַּ֨יִת	bayit	ba-YEET
In this	הַזֶּ֜ה	ze	zeh
and in Jerusalem,	וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֗ם	yĕrûšālaim	yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
which	אֲשֶׁ֤ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
I have chosen	בָּחַ֙רְתִּי֙	bāḥar	ba-HAHR
before all	מִכֹּל֙	kōl	kole
the tribes	שִׁבְטֵ֣י	šēbeṭ	shay-VET
of Israel,	יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
will I put	אָשִׂ֥ים	śûm	soom
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
my name	שְׁמִ֖י	šēm	shame
for ever:	לְעֵילֽוֹם׃	ʿêlôm	ay-LOME
