അവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയും ദൈവം അവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടതും അവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ താഴ്ത്തിയതിന്നു മുമ്പെയുള്ള അവന്റെ സകല പാപവും അകൃത്യവും അവൻ പൂജാഗിരികളെ പണികയും അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെയും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കയും ചെയ്ത സ്ഥലങ്ങളും ദർശകന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

his sin,	חַטָּאת֣וֹ	ḥaṭṭāʾâ	ha-ta-AH
and his trespass,	וּמַעְלוֹ֒	maʿal	ma-AL
and the places	וְהַמְּקֹמ֗וֹת	māqôm	ma-KOME
wherein	אֲשֶׁר֩	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
he built	בָּנָ֨ה	bānâ	ba-NA
	בָהֶ֤ם
high places,	בָּמוֹת֙	bāmâ	ba-MA
and set up	וְהֶֽעֱמִיד֙	ʿāmad	ah-MAHD
groves	הָֽאֲשֵׁרִ֣ים	ʾăšērâ	uh-shay-RA
and graven images,	וְהַפְּסִלִ֔ים	pĕsîl	peh-SEEL
before	לִפְנֵ֖י	pānîm	pa-NEEM
he was humbled:	הִכָּֽנְע֑וֹ	kānaʿ	ka-NA
behold,	הִנָּ֣ם	hēn	hane
they written	כְּתוּבִ֔ים	kātab	ka-TAHV
among	עַ֖ל	ʿal	al
the sayings	דִּבְרֵ֥י	dābār	da-VAHR
of the seers.	חוֹזָֽי׃	ḥōze	hoh-ZEH
