2 Chronicles 11
5 രെഹബെയാം യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർത്തു യെഹൂദയിൽ ഉറപ്പിന്നായി പട്ടണങ്ങളെ പണിതു.
6 അവൻ യെഹൂദയിലും ബെന്യാമീനിലും ഉള്ള ബേത്ത്ളേഹെം ഏതാം, തെക്കോവ,
7 ബേത്ത്-സൂർ, സോഖോ, അദുല്ലാം
8 ഗത്ത്, മാരേശാ, സീഫ്,
9 അദോരയീം, ലാഖീശ്, അസേക്കാ,
10 സോരാ, അയ്യാലോൻ, ഹെബ്രോൻ എന്നിവയെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളായി പണിതു.
11 അവൻ കോട്ടകളെയും ഉറപ്പിച്ചു, അവയിൽ പടനായകന്മാരെ ആക്കി, ഭക്ഷണസാധനങ്ങളും എണ്ണയും വീഞ്ഞും ശേഖരിച്ചുവെച്ചു.
12 അവൻ ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിലും വൻ പരിചകളും കുന്തങ്ങളും വെച്ചു അവയെ നല്ലവണ്ണം ഉറപ്പിച്ചു; യെഹൂദയും ബെന്യാമീനും അവന്റെ പക്ഷത്തു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
13 എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിലും ഉള്ള പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും സകലദിക്കുകളിൽ നിന്നും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുചേർന്നു.
14 യൊരോബെയാമും പുത്രന്മാരും ലേവ്യരെ യഹോവയുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു, താൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ പൂജാഗിരികൾക്കും മേഷവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും കാളക്കുട്ടികൾക്കും വേറെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ നിയമിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു,
15 ലേവ്യർ തങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അവകാശങ്ങളും വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു യെഹൂദയിലേക്കും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കും വന്നു.
16 അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകല ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സുവെച്ചവരും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു യാഗംകഴിപ്പാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നു.
17 ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം ദാവീദിന്റെയും ശലോമോന്റെയും വഴിയിൽ നടന്നു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തോളം യെഹൂദാരാജ്യത്തിന്നു ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുകയും ശലോമോന്റെ മകനായ രെഹബെയാമിനെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
5 And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.
6 He built even Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
7 And Beth-zur, and Shoco, and Adullam,
8 And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,
9 And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,
10 And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities.
11 And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.
12 And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
13 And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.
14 For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the Lord:
15 And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
16 And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the Lord God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the Lord God of their fathers.
17 So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.

And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
13 എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിലും ഉള്ള പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും സകലദിക്കുകളിൽ നിന്നും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുചേർന്നു.
And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.
14 യൊരോബെയാമും പുത്രന്മാരും ലേവ്യരെ യഹോവയുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു, താൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ പൂജാഗിരികൾക്കും മേഷവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും കാളക്കുട്ടികൾക്കും വേറെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ നിയമിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു,
For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the Lord:
15 ലേവ്യർ തങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അവകാശങ്ങളും വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു യെഹൂദയിലേക്കും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കും വന്നു.
And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
16 അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകല ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സുവെച്ചവരും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു യാഗംകഴിപ്പാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നു.
And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the Lord God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the Lord God of their fathers.
17 ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം ദാവീദിന്റെയും ശലോമോന്റെയും വഴിയിൽ നടന്നു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തോളം യെഹൂദാരാജ്യത്തിന്നു ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുകയും ശലോമോന്റെ മകനായ രെഹബെയാമിനെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
