1 Samuel 25 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 And death came to Samuel; and all Israel came together, weeping for him, and put his body in its resting-place in his house at Ramah. Then David went down to the waste land of Maon.ശമൂവേൽ മരിച്ചു; യിസ്രായേൽ ഒക്കെയും ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടി അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു, രാമയിൽ അവന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നരികെ അവനെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തു. ദാവീദ് പുറപ്പെട്ടു പാരാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ പോയി പാർത്തു.

2 Now there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel; he was a great man and had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats: and he was cutting the wool of his sheep in Carmel.കർമ്മേലിൽ വ്യാപാരമുള്ള ഒരു മാവോന്യൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ മഹാ ധനികനായിരുന്നു; അവന്നു മൂവായിരം ചെമ്മരിയാടും ആയിരം കോലാടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന്നു കർമ്മേലിൽ ആടുകളെ രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്ന അടിയന്തരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

3 Now this man was named Nabal, and his wife's name was Abigail: she was a woman of good sense and pleasing looks: but the man was cruel and evil in his ways; he was of the family of Caleb.അവന്നു നാബാൽ എന്നും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യക്കു അബീഗയിൽഎന്നും പേർ. അവൾ നല്ല വിവേകമുള്ളവളും സുന്ദരിയും അവനോ നിഷ്ഠൂരനും ദുഷ്കർമ്മിയും ആയിരുന്നു. അവൻ കാലേബ് വംശക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

4 And David had word in the waste land that Nabal was cutting the wool of his sheep.നാബാലിന്നു ആടുകളെ രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്ന അടിയന്തരം ഉണ്ടെന്നു ദാവീദ് മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കേട്ടു.

5 And David sent ten young men, and said to them, Go up to Carmel and go to Nabal, and say kind words to him in my name;ദാവീദ് പത്തു ബാല്യക്കാരെ അയച്ചു, അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ കർമ്മേലിൽ നാബാലിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു എന്റെ പേരിൽ അവന്നു വന്ദനം ചൊല്ലി:

6 And say this to my brother, May all be well for you: peace be to you and your house and all you have.നന്നായിരിക്കട്ടെ; നിനക്കും നിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്നും നന്നായിരിക്കട്ടെ; നിനക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്നും നന്നായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

7 I have had word that you have wool-cutters: now the keepers of your sheep have been with us, and we have done them no evil, and taken nothing of theirs while they were in Carmel.നിനക്കു ആടുകളെ രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്ന അടിയന്തരം ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഞാൻ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഇരുന്നപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ അവരെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചില്ല; അവർ കർമ്മേലിൽ ഇരുന്ന കാലത്തൊക്കെയും അവർക്കു ഒന്നും കാണാതെ പോയതുമില്ല.

8 If your young men are questioned they will say the same thing. So now, let my young men have grace in your eyes, for we are come at a good time; please give anything you may have by you to your servants and to your son David.നിന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാരോടു ചോദിച്ചാൽ അവരും നിന്നോടു പറയും; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ ബാല്യക്കാരോടു ദയതോന്നേണം; നല്ല നാളിലല്ലോ ഞങ്ങൾ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു; നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ വരുന്നതു അടിയങ്ങൾക്കും നിന്റെ മകനായ ദാവീദിന്നും തരേണമേ എന്നു അവനോടു പറവിൻ.

9 And when David's young men came, they said all this to Nabal, in David's name, and said nothing more.ദാവീദിന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാർ ചെന്നു നാബാലിനോടു ഈ വാക്കുകളെല്ലാം ദാവീദിന്റെ പേരിൽ അറിയിച്ചു കാത്തുനിന്നു.

10 And Nabal gave them his answer and said, Who is David? who is the son of Jesse? there are a number of servants in these days running away from their masters.നാബാൽ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോടു: ദാവീദ് ആർ? യിശ്ശായിയുടെ മകൻ ആർ? യജമാനന്മാരെ വിട്ടു പൊയ്ക്കളയുന്ന ദാസന്മാർ ഇക്കാലത്തു വളരെ ഉണ്ടു.

11 Am I to take my bread and my wine and the meat I have got ready for my wool-cutters and give it to men coming from I have no idea where?ഞാൻ എന്റെ അപ്പവും വെള്ളവും എന്റെ ആടുകളെ രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്നവർക്കായി ഒരുക്കിയ മാംസവും എടുത്തു എവിടുത്തുകാർ എന്നു അറിയാത്തവർക്കു കൊടുക്കുമോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

12 So David's young men, turning away, went back and gave him an account of everything he had said.ദാവീദിന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാർ മടങ്ങിവന്നു വിവരമൊക്കെയും അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

13 And David said to his men, Put on your swords, every one of you. And every man put on his sword; and David did the same; and about four hundred men went up with David, and two hundred kept watch over their goods.അപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് തന്റെ ആളുകളോടു: എല്ലാവരും വാൾ അരെക്കു കെട്ടിക്കൊൾവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ എല്ലാവരും വാൾ അരെക്കു കെട്ടി; ദാവീദും വാൾ അരെക്കു കെട്ടി; ഏകദേശം നാനൂറുപേർ ദാവീദിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; ഇരുനൂറുപേർ സാമാനങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ പാർത്തു.

14 But one of the young men said to Nabal's wife Abigail, David sent men from the waste land to say kind words to our master, and he gave them a rough answer.എന്നാൽ ബാല്യക്കാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ നാബാലിന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ അബീഗയിലിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ദാവീദ് നമ്മുടെ യജമാനന്നു വന്ദനം ചൊല്ലുവാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു; അവനോ അവരെ ശകാരിച്ചു അയച്ചു.

15 But these men have been very good to us; they did us no wrong and nothing of ours was touched while we were with them in the fields:എന്നാൽ ആ പുരുഷന്മാർ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഏറ്റവും ഉപകാരമുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ വയലിൽ അവരുമായി സഹവാസം ചെയ്തിരുന്ന കാലത്തൊരിക്കലും അവർ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചില്ല; ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഒന്നും കാണാതെ പോയതുമില്ല.

16 But day and night they were like a wall round us while we were with them, looking after the sheep.ഞങ്ങൾ ആടുകളെ മേയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോഴൊക്കെയും രാവും പകലും അവർ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു മതിൽ ആയിരുന്നു.

17 So now, give thought to what you are going to do; for evil is in store for our master and all his house: for he is such a good-for-nothing person that it is not possible to say anything to him.ആകയാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നു ആലോചിച്ചുനോക്കേണം; നമ്മുടെ യജമാനന്നും അവന്റെ സകലഭവനത്തിന്നും ദോഷം നിർണ്ണയിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവനോ ദുസ്സ്വഭാവിയാകകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ആർക്കും ഒന്നും മിണ്ടിക്കൂടാ.

18 Then Abigail quickly took two hundred cakes of bread and two skins full of wine and five sheep ready for cooking and five measures of dry grain and a hundred parcels of dry grapes and two hundred cakes of figs, and put them on asses.ഉടനെ അബീഗയിൽ ഇരുനൂറു അപ്പവും രണ്ടു തുരുത്തി വീഞ്ഞും പാകം ചെയ്ത അഞ്ചു ആടും അഞ്ചു പറ മലരും നൂറു ഉണക്ക മുന്തിരിക്കുലയും ഇരുനൂറു അത്തിയടയും എടുത്തു കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു കയറ്റി ബാല്യക്കാരോടു;

19 And she said to her young men, Go on in front of me and I will come after you. But she said nothing to her husband Nabal.നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു മുമ്പായി പോകുവിൻ; ഞാൻ ഇതാ, പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. തന്റെ ഭർത്താവായ നാബാലിനോടു അവൾ ഒന്നും അറിയിച്ചില്ലതാനും.

20 Now while she was going down under cover of the mountain on her ass, David and his men came down against her, and suddenly she came face to face with them.അവൾ കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു കയറി മലയുടെ മറവിൽകൂടി ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ ഇതാ, ദാവീദും അവന്റെ ആളുകളും അവളുടെ നേരെ വരുന്നു; അവൾ അവരെ എതിരേറ്റു.

21 Now David had said, What was the use of my taking care of this man's goods in the waste land, so that there was no loss of anything which was his? he has only given me back evil for good.എന്നാൽ ദാവീദ്: മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അവന്നു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ വെറുതെയല്ലോ കാത്തതു; അവന്റെ വക ഒന്നും കാണാതെ പോയതുമില്ല; അവനോ നന്മെക്കു പകരം എനിക്കു തിന്മചെയ്തു.

22 May God's punishment be on David, if when morning comes there is so much as one male of his people still living.അവന്നുള്ള സകലത്തിലും പുരുഷപ്രജയായ ഒന്നിനെയെങ്കിലും പുലരുംവരെ ഞാൻ ജീവനോടെ വെച്ചേച്ചാൽ ദൈവം ദാവീദിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അധികവും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

23 And when Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her ass, falling down on her face before him.അബീഗയിൽ ദാവീദിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ കഴുതപ്പുറത്തുനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി ദാവീദിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

24 And falling at his feet she said, May the wrong be on me, my lord, on me: let your servant say a word to you, and give ear to the words of your servant.അവൾ അവന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ വീണു പറഞ്ഞതു: യജമാനനേ, കുറ്റം എന്റെമേൽ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അടിയൻ ഒന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊള്ളട്ടെ; അടിയന്റെ വാക്കുകളെ കേൾക്കേണമേ.

25 Let my lord give no attention to Nabal, that good-for-nothing: for as his name is, so is he, a man without sense: but I, your servant, did not see the young men whom my lord sent.ദുസ്സ്വഭാവിയായ ഈ നാബാലിനെ യജമാനൻ ഗണ്യമാക്കരുതേ; അവൻ തന്റെ പേർപോലെ തന്നെ ആകുന്നു; നാബാൽ എന്നല്ലോ അവന്റെ പേർ; ഭോഷത്വം അത്രേ അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉള്ളതു. അടിയനോ, യജമാനൻ അയച്ച ബാല്യക്കാരെ കണ്ടിരുന്നില്ല.

26 So now, my lord, by the living God and by your living soul, seeing that the Lord has kept you from the crime of blood and from taking into your hands the punishment for your wrongs, may all your haters, and those who would do evil to my lord, be like Nabal.ആകയാൽ യജമാനനേ, യഹോവയാണ, നിന്നാണ, രക്തപാതകവും സ്വന്തകയ്യാൽ പ്രതികാരവും ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം യഹോവ നിന്നെ തടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളും യജമാനന്നു ദോഷം വിചാരിക്കുന്നവരും നാബാലിനെപ്പോലെ ആകട്ടെ.

27 And let this offering, which your servant gives to my lord, be given to the young men who are with my lord.ഇപ്പോൾ യജമാനന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അടിയൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ കാഴ്ച യജമാനന്റെ പരിചാരകരായ ബാല്യക്കാർക്കു ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

28 And may the sin of your servant have forgiveness: for the Lord will certainly make your family strong, because my lord is fighting in the Lord's war; and no evil will be seen in you all your days.അടിയന്റെ കുറ്റം ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ, യഹോവ യജമാനന്നു സ്ഥിരമായോരു ഭവനം പണിയും; യഹോവയുടെ യുദ്ധങ്ങളെയല്ലോ യജമാനൻ നടത്തുന്നതു. ആയുഷ്കാലത്തൊരിക്കലും നിന്നിൽ ദോഷം കാണുകയില്ല.

29 And though a man has taken up arms against you, putting your life in danger, still the soul of my lord will be kept safe among the band of the living with the Lord your God; and the souls of those who are against you he will send violently away from him, like stones from a bag.മനുഷ്യൻ നിന്നെ പിന്തുർന്നു നിനക്കു ജീവഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റാലും യജമാനന്റെ പ്രാണൻ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പക്കൽ ജീവഭാണ്ഡത്തിൽ കെട്ടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ പ്രാണങ്ങളെയോ അവൻ കവിണയുടെ തടത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നപോലെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും.

30 And when the Lord has done for my lord all those good things which he has said he will do for you, and has made you a ruler over Israel;എന്നാൽ യഹോവ യജമാനന്നു വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ നന്മയും നിവൃത്തിച്ചുതന്നു നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു പ്രഭുവാക്കിവെക്കുമ്പോൾ

31 Then you will have no cause for grief, and my lord's heart will not be troubled because you have taken life without cause and have yourself given punishment for your wrongs: and when the Lord has been good to you, then give a thought to your servant.അകാരണമായി രക്തം ചിന്നുകയും യജമാനൻ താൻ തന്നേ പ്രതികാരം നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തുപോയി എന്നുള്ള ചഞ്ചലവും മനോവ്യഥയും യജമാനന്നു ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ യജമാനന്നു നന്മ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ അടിയനെയും ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളേണമേ.

32 And David said to Abigail, May the Lord, the God of Israel, be praised, who sent you to me today:ദാവീദ് അബീഗയിലിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: എന്നെ എതിരേല്പാൻ നിന്നെ ഇന്നു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം.

33 A blessing on your good sense and on you, who have kept me today from the crime of blood and from taking into my hands the punishment for my wrongs.നിന്റെ വിവേകം സ്തുത്യം; രക്തപാതകവും സ്വന്തകയ്യാൽ പ്രതികാരവും ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം എന്നെ ഇന്നു തടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന നീയും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൾ.

34 For truly, by the living Lord, the God of Israel, who has kept me from doing you evil, if you had not been so quick in coming to me and meeting me, by dawn there would not have been in Nabal's house so much as one male living.നിന്നോടു ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം എന്നെ തടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാണ, നീ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു എന്നെ എതിരേറ്റു വന്നിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ നേരം പുലരുമ്പോഴേക്കു പുരുഷപ്രജയൊന്നും നാബാലിന്നു ശേഷിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

35 Then David took from her hands her offering: and he said to her, Go back to your house in peace; see, I have given ear to your voice, and taken your offering with respect.പിന്നെ അവൾ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു ദാവീദ് അവളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വാങ്ങി അവളോടു: സമാധാനത്തോടെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോക; ഇതാ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടു നിന്റെ മുഖം ആദരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

36 And Abigail went back to Nabal; and he was feasting in his house like a king; and Nabal's heart was full of joy, for he had taken much wine; so she said nothing to him till dawn came.അബീഗയിൽ നാബാലിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ രാജവിരുന്നുപോലെ ഒരു വിരുന്നു കഴിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; നാബാലിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദത്തിലായി അവന്നു നന്നാ ലഹരിപിടിച്ചിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൾ നേരം വെളുക്കുംവരെ വിവരം ഒന്നും അവനെ അറിയിച്ചില്ല.

37 And in the morning, when the effect of the wine was gone, Nabal's wife gave him an account of all these things, and all the heart went out of him, and he became like stone.എന്നാൽ രാവിലെ നാബാലിന്റെ വീഞ്ഞു ഇറങ്ങിയശേഷം അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ അവനോടു വിവരം അറിയിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ നിർജ്ജീവമായി അവൻ കല്ലിച്ചുപോയി.

38 And about ten days after, the Lord sent disease on Nabal and death came to him.പത്തുദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യഹോവ നാബാലിനെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചു, അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയി.

39 And David, hearing that Nabal was dead, said, May the Lord be praised, who has taken up my cause against Nabal for the shame which he put on me, and has kept back his servant from evil, and has sent on Nabal's head the reward of his evil-doing. And David sent word to Abigail, desiring to take her as his wife.നാബാൽ മരിച്ചു എന്നു ദാവീദ് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ: എന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ച നിന്ദെക്കായിട്ടു നാബാലിനോടു വ്യവഹരിക്കയും തന്റെ ദാസനെ തിന്മചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം തടുക്കയും ചെയ്ത യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം. നാബാലിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത യഹോവ അവന്റെ തലയിൽ തന്നേ വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് അബീഗയിലിനെ തനിക്കു ഭാര്യയായിപരിഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവളോടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ ആളയച്ചു.

40 And when David's servants came to Carmel, to Abigail, they said to her, David has sent us to you to take you to him as his wife.ദാവീദിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ കർമ്മേലിൽ അബീഗയിലിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവളോടു: നീ ദാവീദിന്നു ഭാര്യയായ്തീരുവാൻ നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുചെല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ അവൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

41 And she got up, and going down on her face to the earth, said, See, I am ready to be a servant-girl, washing the feet of the servants of my lord.അവൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിലംവരെ തല കുനിച്ചു: ഇതാ, അടിയൻ യജമാനന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ കാലുകളെ കഴുകുന്ന ദാസി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

42 Then Abigail got up quickly and went on her ass, with five of her young women, after the men whom David had sent; and she became David's wife.ഉടനെ അബീഗയിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു തന്റെ പരിചാരകികളായ അഞ്ചു ബാല്യക്കാരത്തികളുമായി കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ദാവീദിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ചെന്നു അവന്നു ഭാര്യയായി തീർന്നു.

43 And David had taken Ahinoam of Jezreel, to be his wife; these two were his wives.യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ദാവീദ് അഹീനോവമിനെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവർ ഇരുവരും അവന്നു ഭാര്യമാരായ്തീർന്നു.

44 Now Saul had given his daughter Michal, David's wife, to Palti the son of Laish of Gallim.ശൌലോ തന്റെ മകളും ദാവീദിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായിരുന്ന മീഖളിനെ ഗല്ലീമ്യനായ ലയീശിന്റെ മകൻ ഫല്തിക്കു കൊടുത്തിരുന്നു.
