ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കിനെയും അബ്യാഥാരിനെയും ഊരീയേൽ, അസായാവു, യോവേൽ, ശെമയ്യാവു, എലീയേൽ, അമ്മീനാദാബ് എന്നീ ലേവ്യരെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:
