Luke 15 in Tamil

1 சகல ஆயக்காரரும் பாவிகளும் அவருடைய வசனங்களைக் கேட்கும்படி அவரிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தார்கள். Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

2 அப்பொழுது பரிசேயரும் வேதபாரகரும் முறுமுறுத்து: இவர் பாவிகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவர்களோடே சாப்பிடுகிறார் என்றார்கள். And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

3 அவர்களுக்கு அவர் சொன்ன உவமையாவது: And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

4 உங்களில் ஒரு மனுஷன் நூறு ஆடுகளை உடையவனாயிருந்து, அவைககளில் ஒன்று காணாமற்போனால், தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளையும் வனாந்தரத்திலே விட்டு, காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைக் கண்டுபிடிக்குமளவும் தேடித்திரியானோ? What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5 கண்டுபிடித்தபின்பு, அவன் சந்தோஷத்தோடே அதைத் தன் தோள்களின் மேல் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6 வீட்டுக்கு வந்து, சிநேகிதரையும் அயலகத்தாரையும் கூட வரவழைத்து: காணாமற்போன என் ஆட்டைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன், என்னோடுகூட சந்தோஷப்படுங்கள் என்பான் அல்லவா? And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

7 அதுபோல, மனந்திரும்ப அவசியமில்லாத தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது நீதிமான்களைக்குறித்துச் சந்தோஷம் உண்டாகிறதைப் பார்க்கிலும் மனந்திரும்புகிற ஒரே பாவியினிமித்தம் பரலோகத்தில் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷம் உண்டாயிருக்கும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

8 அன்றியும், ஒரு ஸ்திரீ பத்து வெள்ளிக்காசை உடையவளாயிருந்து, அதில் ஒரு வெள்ளிக்காசு காணாமற்போனால், விளக்கைக் கொளுத்தி, வீட்டைப் பெருக்கி, அதைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவரைக்கும் ஜாக்கிரதையாய்த் தேடாமலிருப்பாளோ? Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

9 கண்டுபிடித்தபின்பு, தன் சிநேகிதிகளையும் அயல்வீட்டுக்காரிகளையும் கூட வரவழைத்து: காணாமற்போன வெள்ளிக்காசைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன், என்னோடுகூட சந்தோஷப்படுங்கள் என்பாள் அல்லவா? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

10 அதுபோல மனந்திரும்புகிற ஒரே பாவியினிமித்தம் தேவனுடைய தூதர்களுக்கு முன்பாகச் சந்தோஷமுண்டாயிருக்கிறது என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார். Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

11 பின்னும் அவர் சொன்னது: ஒரு மனுஷக்கு இரண்டு குமாரர் இருந்தார்கள். And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 அவர்களில் இளையவன் தன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: தகப்பனே, ஆஸ்தியில் எனக்கு வரும் பங்கை எனக்குத் தரவேண்டும் என்றான். அந்தப்படி அவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தன் ஆஸ்தியைப் பங்கிட்டுக்கொடுத்தான். And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 சில நாளைக்குப்பின்பு, இளையமகன் எல்லாவற்றையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, தூர தேசத்துக்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், அங்கே துன்மார்க்கமாய் ஜீவனம்பண்ணி, தன் ஆஸ்தியை அழித்துப்போட்டான். And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 எல்லாவற்றையும் அவன் செலவழித்தபின்பு, அந்த தேசத்திலே கொடிய பஞ்சமுண்டாயிற்று. அப்பொழுது அவன் குறைவுபடத்தொடங்கி, And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 அந்த தேசத்துக் குடிகளில் ஒருவனிடத்தில் போய் ஒட்டிக்கொண்டான். அந்தக் குடியானவன் அவனைத் தன் வயல்களில் பன்றிகளை மேய்க்கும்படி அனுப்பினான். And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 அப்பொழுது பன்றிகள் தின்கிற தவிட்டினாலே தன் வயிற்றை நிரப்ப ஆசையாயிருந்தான், ஒருவனும் அதை அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவில்லை. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 அவனுக்குப் புத்தி தெளிந்தபோது, அவன்: என் தகப்பனுடைய கூலிக்காரர் எத்தனையோ பேருக்குப் பூர்த்தியான சாப்பாடு இருக்கிறது, நானோ பசியினால் சாகிறேன். And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 நான் எழுந்து, என் தகப்பனிடத்திற்குப் போய்: தகப்பனே, பரத்துக்கு விரோதமாகவும் உமக்கு முன்பாகவும் பாவஞ்செய்தேன். I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 இனிமேல் உம்முடைய குமாரன் என்று சொல்லப்படுவதற்கு நான் பாத்திரனல்ல, உம்முடைய கூலிக்காரரில் ஒருவனாக என்னை வைத்துக்கொள்ளும் என்பேன் என்று சொல்லி; And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன் தகப்பனிடத்தில் வந்தான். அவன் தூரத்தில் வரும்போதே, அவனுடைய தகப்பன் அவனைக் கண்டு, மனதுருகி, ஓடி, அவன் கழுத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவனை முத்தஞ்செய்தான். And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 குமாரன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: தகப்பனே, பரத்துக்கு விரோதமாகவும், உமக்கு முன்பாகவும் பாவஞ்செய்தேன், இனிமேல் உம்முடைய குமாரன் என்று சொல்லப்படுவதற்கு நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல என்று சொன்னான். And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 அப்பொழுது தகப்பன் தன் ஊழியக்காரரை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உயர்ந்த வஸ்திரத்தைக் கொண்டுவந்து, இவனுக்கு உடுத்தி, இவன் கைக்கு மோதிரத்தையும் கால்களுக்குப் பாதரட்சைகளையும் போடுங்கள். But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 கொழுத்த கன்றைக் கொண்டுவந்து அடியுங்கள். நாம் புசித்து, சந்தோஷமாயிருப்போம். And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 என் குமாரனாகிய இவன் மரித்தான், திரும்பவும் உயிர்த்தான்; காணாமற்போனான், திரும்பவும் காணப்பட்டான் என்றான். அப்படியே அவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்படத் தொடங்கினார்கள். For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25 அவனுடைய மூத்தகுமாரன் வயலிலிருந்தான். அவன் திரும்பி வீட்டுக்குச் சமீபமாய் வருகிறபோது, கீத வாத்தியத்தையும், நடனக்களிப்பையும் கேட்டு; Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

26 ஊழியக்காரரில் ஒருவனை அழைத்து: இதென்ன என்று விசாரித்தான். And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 அதற்கு அவன்: உம்முடைய சகோதரன் வந்தார், அவர் மறுபடியும் சுகத்துடனே உம்முடைய தகப்பனிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தபடியினாலே அவருக்காகக் கொழுத்த கன்றை அடிப்பித்தார் என்றான். And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 அப்பொழுது அவன் கோபமடைந்து, உள்ளே போக மனதில்லாதிருந்தான். தகப்பனோ வெளியே வந்து, அவனை வருந்தியழைத்தான். And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 அவன் தகப்பனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: இதோ, இத்தனை வருஷகாலமாய் நான் உமக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்து, ஒருக்காலும் உம்முடைய கற்பனையை மீறாதிருந்தும், என் சிநேகிதரோடே நான் சந்தோஷமாயிருக்கும்படி நீர் ஒருக்காலும் எனக்கு ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியையாவது கொடுக்கவில்லை. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 வேசிகளிடத்தில் உம்முடைய ஆஸ்தியை அழித்துப்போட்ட உம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய இவன் வந்தவுடனே கொழுத்த கன்றை இவனுக்காக அடிப்பித்தீரே என்றான். But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 அதற்குத் தகப்பன்: மகனே, நீ எப்போதும் என்னோடிருக்கிறாய், எனக்குள்ளதெல்லாம் உன்னுடையதாயிருக்கிறது. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 உன் சகோதரனாகிய இவனோ மரித்தான், திரும்பவும் உயிர்த்தான்; காணாமற்போனான், திரும்பவும் காணப்பட்டான்; ஆனபடியினாலே, நாம் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்க வேண்டுமே என்று சொன்னான் என்றார். It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

1 Sakala aayakkaararum paavikalum avarutaiya vasanangalaik kaetkumpati avaridaththil vanthu sernthaarkal. Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

2 Appoluthu pariseyarum vaethapaarakarum muraுmuraுththu: ivar paavikalai aettaுkkonndu avarkalotae saappidukiraar entarkal. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

3 Avarkalukku avar sonna uvamaiyaavathu: And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

4 Ungalil oru manushan nooraு aadukalai utaiyavanaayirunthu, avaikakalil ontu kaannaamarponaal, thonnnnoottaொnpathu aadukalaiyum vanaantharaththilae vittu, kaannaamarpona aattaைk kanndupitikkumalavum thaetiththiriyaano? What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5 Kanndupitiththapinpu, avan santhoshaththotae athaith than tholkalin mael pottukkonndu, And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6 Veettukku vanthu, sinaekitharaiyum ayalakaththaaraiyum kooda varavalaiththu: kaannaamarpona en aattaைk kanndupitiththaen, ennodukooda santhoshappadungal enpaan allavaa? And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

7 Athupola, mananthirumpa avasiyamillaatha thonnnnoottaொnpathu neethimaankalaikkuriththuch santhosham unndaakirathaip paarkkilum mananthirumpukira orae paaviyinimiththam paralokaththil mikuntha santhosham unndaayirukkum entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

8 Antiyum, oru sthiree paththu vellikkaasai utaiyavalaayirunthu, athil oru vellikkaasu kaannaamarponaal, vilakkaik koluththi, veettaைp perukki, athaik kanndupitikkiravaraikkum jaakkirathaiyaayth thaedaamaliruppaalo? 9 Kanndupitiththapinpu, than sinaekithikalaiyum ayalveettukkaarikalaiyum kooda varavalaiththu: kaannaamarpona vellikkaasaik kanndupitiththaen, ennodukooda santhoshappadungal enpaal allavaa? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

10 Athupola mananthirumpukira orae paaviyinimiththam thaevanutaiya thootharkalukku munpaakach santhoshamunndaayirukkirathu entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn entar. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

11 Pinnum avar sonnathu: oru manushakku iranndu kumaarar irunthaarkal. And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 Avarkalil ilaiyavan than thakappanai Nnokki: thakappanae, aasthiyil enakku varum pangai enakkuth tharavaenndum entan. Anthappati avan avarkalukkuth than aasthiyaip pangittukkoduththaan. And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 Sila naalaikkuppinpu, ilaiyamakan ellaavattaைyum serththukkonndu, thoora thaesaththukkup purappattuppoy, angae thunmaarkkamaay jeevanampannnni, than aasthiyai aliththuppottan. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 Ellaavattaைyum avan selavaliththapinpu, antha thaesaththilae kotiya panjamunndaayittaு. Appoluthu avan kuraivupadaththodangi, And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 Antha thaesaththuk kutikalil oruvanidaththil poy ottikkonndaan. Anthak kutiyaanavan avanaith than vayalkalil pantikalai maeykkumpati anuppinaan. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 Appoluthu pantikal thinkira thavittinaalae than vayittaை nirappa aasaiyaayirunthaan, oruvanum athai avanukkuk kodukkavillai. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 Avanukkup puththi thelinthapothu, avan: en thakappanutaiya koolikkaarar eththanaiyo paerukkup poorththiyaana saappaadu irukkirathu, naano pasiyinaal saakiraேn. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 Naan elunthu, en thakappanidaththirkup poy: thakappanae, paraththukku virothamaakavum umakku munpaakavum paavanjaெythaen. I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 Inimael ummutaiya kumaaran entu sollappaduvatharku naan paaththiranalla, ummutaiya koolikkaararil oruvanaaka ennai vaiththukkollum enpaen entu solli; And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 Elunthu purappattu, than thakappanidaththil vanthaan. Avan thooraththil varumpothae, avanutaiya thakappan avanaik kanndu, manathuruki, oti, avan kaluththaik kattikkonndu, avanai muththanjaெythaan. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 Kumaaran thakappanai Nnokki: thakappanae, paraththukku virothamaakavum, umakku munpaakavum paavanjaெythaen, inimael ummutaiya kumaaran entu sollappaduvatharku naan paaththiran alla entu sonnaan. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 Appoluthu thakappan than ooliyakkaararai Nnokki: neengal uyarntha vasthiraththaik konnduvanthu, ivanukku uduththi, ivan kaikku mothiraththaiyum kaalkalukkup paatharatchaைkalaiyum podungal. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 Koluththa kantaik konnduvanthu atiyungal. Naam pusiththu, santhoshamaayiruppom. And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 En kumaaranaakiya ivan mariththaan, thirumpavum uyirththaan; kaannaamarponaan, thirumpavum kaanappattan entan. Appatiyae avarkal santhoshappadath thodanginaarkal. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25 Avanutaiya mooththakumaaran vayalilirunthaan. Avan thirumpi veettukkuch sameepamaay varukirapothu, geetha vaaththiyaththaiyum, nadanakkalippaiyum kaettu; Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

26 Ooliyakkaararil oruvanai alaiththu: ithenna entu visaariththaan. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 Atharku avan: ummutaiya sakotharan vanthaar, avar maraுpatiyum sukaththudanae ummutaiya thakappanidaththil vanthu sernthapatiyinaalae avarukkaakak koluththa kantai atippiththaar entan. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 Appoluthu avan kopamatainthu, ullae poka manathillaathirunthaan. Thakappano veliyae vanthu, avanai varunthiyalaiththaan. And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 Avan thakappanukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: itho, iththanai varushakaalamaay naan umakku ooliyanjaெythu, orukkaalum ummutaiya karpanaiyai meeraathirunthum, en sinaekitharotae naan santhoshamaayirukkumpati neer orukkaalum enakku oru aattukkuttiyaiyaavathu kodukkavillai. 30 Vaesikalidaththil ummutaiya aasthiyai aliththuppotta ummutaiya kumaaranaakiya ivan vanthavudanae koluththa kantai ivanukkaaka atippiththeerae entan. But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 Atharkuth thakappan: makanae, nee eppothum ennotirukkiraay, enakkullathellaam unnutaiyathaayirukkirathu. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 Un sakotharanaakiya ivano mariththaan, thirumpavum uyirththaan; kaannaamarponaan, thirumpavum kaanappattan; aanapatiyinaalae, naam santhoshappattu makilchchiyaayirukka vaenndumae entu sonnaan entar. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
