ದಾವೀದನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಸೌಲನು--ನನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರನಾದ ದಾವೀದನೇ, ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು; ಸೌಲನು ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತನು.
