Proverbs 17:27
ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವನು ಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ವಿವೇಕಿಯು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಆತ್ಮವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಅನೇಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಪ್ಪುವದುಂಟು. ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಪರಿ ಪೂರ್ಣನೂ ತನ್ನ ದೇಹವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಥನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಹೃದಯವು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಬಾಯಿ ಯು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆಡವುತ್ತದೆ.

ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಹುಚ್ಚರನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನ ಕೂಗಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವೆ.

ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವು ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
