Leviticus 25:9
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸ ಬೇಕು; ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಹೊಲದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವುಂಟಾದವನಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಯಾವನಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡನೋ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನೀನು ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಕ್ರಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ಐವತ್ತ ನೆಯ ವರುಷವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಐವತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವವಾ ಗಿರಬೇಕು; ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಅವನವನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು.

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತ ವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಆಡನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು.
