Leviticus 14:2
ಕುಷ್ಠ ರೋಗಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧತೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ನಿಯಮವು ಇದೇ: ಅವನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.

ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆ ಅಂದನು.

ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಒಂದಾನೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ತುಂಬಾ ಕುಷ್ಠವಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬೋರಲ ಬಿದ್ದು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

ಉಣ್ಣೆಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ನಾರಿನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಹಾಸಿನ ಹೊಕ್ಕಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದಾದ ಯಾವದ ರಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಕುಷ್ಠವ್ಯಾಧಿಯವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧವೆಂದು ಅಶುದ್ಧವೆಂದು ನುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ವಿಧಿಯು ಇದೇ.
