ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ದೇವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಲಾಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನೆಟ್ಟನು.

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.
