Joshua 22:34
ರೂಬೇನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಗಾದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಎಂಬ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವ ಏದ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು. ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯ ಕರ್ತನೇ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಅದೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವದು.

ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಜನ ರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ--ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಕಲ್ಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದು ಕರ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
