ಫರೋಹನು ಗಾಜಾವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು.

ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಫ್ಸಹು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಗಾಜದ ವರೆಗೂ ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸುತ್ತಲಿ ರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಅಷ್ಕಲೋನು ನೋಡಿ ಭಯಪಡುವದು; ಗಾಜ ಸಹ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ವೇದನೆಪಡುವದು, ಎಕ್ರೋನು ಸಹ; ಅದರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಿಸಿತು; ಗಾಜ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅರಸನು ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು; ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನು ನಿವಾಸವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವದು.

ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಬಳೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡ ಬೇಕು. ಅವುಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯ ಬಾರದು.
