Jeremiah 34:1
ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚ ರನೂ ಅವನ ಸೈನ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವನ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ವಾಕ್ಯವೇನಂ ದರೆ--

ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ರುವೆ; ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಆಗ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಹ ತ್ತಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ ಭಾಷೆಯವರೂ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೆದರಿ ನಡುಗಿ ದರು; ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದವರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವಾದ ವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದನು, ಇಷ್ಟವಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ ದವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಆ ಮರವು ನೀನೇ ಆಗಿರುವಿ, ನೀನು ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಿ; ಹೌದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ತು ಬೆಳೆದು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೂ ಮುಟ್ಟುವದು.

ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು, ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಭಾಷೆಯವರಿಗೂ--ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಾಂತಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿ.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 52:4
ಅವನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ತಾನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 39:1
ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೂ ಅವನ ಸೈನ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 34:7
ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೂ ಅಜೇ ಕಕ್ಕೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗಲೇ ಹೇಳಿ ದನು. ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವು.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 27:5
ನಾನೇ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಹಾಬಲದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಸರಿತೋಚಿದವರಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ.
2 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾ 36:12
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಾಯಿ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನ ಮುಂದೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.

ಅವನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚರನು ತಾನೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದಿಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
